Elon - "The truck is not ugly enough! What can we do to mess up the visual lines even more?"
Designers - "I got you fam!"
Why does it have California plates if it is made in Texas?
I do know there is a Vuvuzela-like device that sits around the top of the spare tire. I've seen pictures from our teardown on @TTT truck (https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/lightning-and-identity-theft.12185/), but I cannot share it.
Nice facility and an amazing cell...I just wish they showed more about the cathode (which I previously said they buried the real headline about the cell).
HOWEVER, what you see in the video is less than a 3 Ah cell. When they were initially charging the cell, it was under 30 A current and they...
Just ask him where the nearest hydrogen refueling station is or if he plans on producing it at home :ROFLMAO:
Yes, we are testing several fuel cell (hydrogen) systems at SwRI, but the one vehicle we have is not near as much fun to drive as most BEVs.
Yea, it would be nice to finally receive this...ordered it on Apr 6th, and now says May 3rd for delivery, but with as many times (3 or 4) as this date has changed, I'm not holding my breath. Really lowers my overall faith in this supplier. I will defiantly take note on future orders.
That last bullet on D-Sample (Verification not completed) is what a lot of our work is on right now. And we blow up a lot of batteries during this step! Sometimes we might receive C-Samples instead of D-Samples if the OEM is somewhat confident in the design and want to get a leg up on the...

There is an FDRS update for this module. I've installed it but have not checked it out...I just have too many other things in the compartment for it to be useful.
Looks like GDN beat me to this.
Unfortunately, I only skimmed over your points in my first response. A closer examination of your points requires emojis for each point. See above
I would be interested in seeing your sources for your information.
See my response on what it takes to certify a new battery. Ford can't just say today "I think we should change" and expect it to happen in this model year. Now, if they read the tea leaves correctly two or three years ago and started the certification, then MAYBE this model year.
When you read about 'breakthroughs', it is important to find out the size of the cell. Most of these announcements with 200% better capacity, and 500% longer life, are actually at the coin cell size and are considered to be in the basic research phase. Now you have to see what the problems are...
