Yea some say that you don’t need Apple Car play cause you can get Apple Music and Map is better on the car but I just like Apple
Car play and the UI. Being able to see my messages and calls like I do on my iPhone.
Ok. For some the look is cool but I actually prefer the Light Bar. Just looks so cool at night. There is a lot of EV hate so it’s kind of nice to be able to blend in without sticking out like a sore thumb.
The Rivan is pretty sweet but I still prefer the Lightning. Would be cool if Ford made a Ranger or Maverick EV for those that prefer a smaller truck. I do prefer the Lightning over Rivian for two major reason. Lightning has Apple Car play and the truck doesn’t stand out as an EV to the untrained...
I have a 23 Lariat ER and I love it but I don’t think the reverse brake light bar is a must. It makes the truck look cool but I don’t think it would be worth going through all the trouble to add that. Just my opinion.
Yes I would just assume the passenger would grab the huge grab handle near their face.
Yes, I do know some people don’t like the big tablet screen but I personally think it’s super cool. It’s a big conversation starter whenever someone rides the truck for the first time.
The one negative is that...
I have never once had the desire to grab the top of the screen to get into or out of my truck. Maybe that’s a thing in the MachE since it’s such a smaller vehicle.
I got the extended warranty and the main reason was that they bundled it with windshield and tire replacement. The windshield replacement is something I always add to my vehicles since I like in a rocky terrain area. I thought of canceling it and then going to another Ford dealership that can...
I also have a Bronco and the KO2 are sweet looking and awesome for off-roading. However, the fuel range and speed have a huge affect on the Bronco. I can only imagine how much range loss they would add to a Lightning even if you were able to somehow get them to fit.
I recently replace my factory...
I think I had seen somewhere that Ford was aware that this is a highly requested feature. Maybe someday we will have the option to auto engage the parking brake.
One of my biggest dislikes is the cup holders on the center console armrest.
They feel like they don’t securely hold any drinks.
I have a metal water bottle that I use one of the cup holders near shifter.
Does anyone know of a water bottle or tumbler that fits perfectly on the armrest cup holders?
Yes this happens about 50% of the time on my 2023 Lariat ER. I just go into settings and disconnect from CarPlay and immediately reconnect. That fixes the issue for me. Also for me, once every couple weeks I get where the audio is only coming out of one speaker. Have to pull over and turn off...
