I think you can find others in this forum that have reported needing a new HV battery module (or two?).

Found others reporting this as well on other forums not to be mentioned.
How many replacement modules did you have done for the Safety Recall 25S18 back in October, 2025? And, just to confirm, one of those new modules put in went bad? Yipes!
Getting the heat transfer panel and the thermal paste done properly might be the most difficult parts, beyond finding replacement “good used” high voltage battery modules. @Ford Motor Company sucks dropping the Lightning. Their marketing failed on pushing the benefits of full EV.
I have paint that wants to peel below the taillight/tailgate area above the bumper. Ford touchup does not lay down flat for fixing. What is the best way to deal with paint chipping?
I believe the standard High Voltage Battery System warranty is 8 years, 100K miles, unless your state enforces a longer one. Even an extended warranty for 10 years does not extend the HV battery system warranty? Maybe Kia has a 10 year warranty on HV systems? The Extend warranty company might...
Seems the aluminum plant fire was the key to making the decision now.
Will this extended range be a plug-in, PHEV? I really would have like that due to the limited range available of this large BEV. Battery energy density needs to go up and cost down, both 2X. Charging speed is not that bad...
Just to let others know, I passed on the Winner status, as I think @3Wliners needs someone who will give their test mat a more realistic work load compared to my current Pavement Princess uses. Good luck!

"The "shift system fault - service required," "service vehicle soon," and wrench icon on your 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat dashboard indicate a...
currently using the full bed rug, walls covered, shaped around cleats, etc, works well for keeping things from sliding and okay for knees. Had a drop in on a 3/4 chevy but it can cover cleats and attachment points, and now with Pro Power Onboard, openings are needed for that as well. Just the...
Hard to say, based on what I have tracked in my spreadsheet, look for Red font (link in my signature below) most multiple module failures are detected at the same time at the dealer. But there has been maybe a couple that had to go in a second time.
@Ford Motor Company wish there was an official detailed list of changes made for the various updates with a way to see the history of all these changes. Should also include information on how the app differs for each model / major component like Pro Power On Board. @TaxmanHog did you have PPOB...
Dealer got me $40/day for my Hyundai rental while waiting for them to get HV battery modules replaced (25S18, they had to drop battery to check serial numbers before ordering, even though they knew which ones were to be replaced, so wasted more of my time and dealer space). Dealer said if it...
No worries. Interesting both size modules, 8 is 5P11S, and 9 is 5P8S, had cell problems. Do you know the Build Month in 2022 (on the driver door sticker top)? What was your mileage at failure?
