Did a road trip (San Diego to Lancaster via 138) with the mini just laying in the back seat. I feel there's some kind of beam steering in the antenna because it worked pretty good with orientation not being perfect. A slight performance hit at times. I did start off with a properly oriented...
@BougeRV The 37 quart dual zone is great in the frunk. Just a little noisy (high pitched) when you're next to it. I still recommend it. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/powered-cooler-vs-mini-fridge.10314/post-358577
This one looks really nice as well...
It was "looking" through the closed sunroof. I'm still deciding if I want to mount it. Unlike the larger receiver that auto orients, you need to to orient this one. I need to test out some mobility scenarios. Right now I'm just happy to have connectivity in my wireless void.
I got great reception through the closed sunroof. There's an orientation utility in the app (I'll grab a screen shot) that makes orientation very easy.
I received my Starlink mini and first thing I had to do was test it inside the truck. Works perfect. I farm in areas with no cellular coverage and the mini is awesome. Much easier to transport.
Gas is still over $5 a gallon in CA. Truck is worth more than I owe. Even with two major battery failures still love the truck and am fine that I didnāt get any ādiscountsā. If I would have been driving gas vehicle for the last 2 years (that went by fast), I would have spent way more in gas than...
It was awhile ago, but did Carlsbad to Vegas. Pretty easy trip. Charged to 100% in Carlsbad, did about 15 minute charge in Barstow (driver needed a break ?). Charged back to 80% in Baker, no lines. Charged in Baker on way back (80% again) and another 15 minutes in Murrieta on way back to have a...
I ordered from ETSY as well, but they've been sitting in my office for a week :( (busy time of year for avocados). I had some from a different vendor and they've been great but was ready for a color change and like the 3d style. As soon as my lazy self gets them on I'll post here.
Ouch or maybe a good thing (get a new truck at a reduced cost from 2022). Do you know what you'll replace it with? Living with CA gas prices I'm still very happy to have one of the first trucks, even with the price reduction and the problems I've had. The money I've saved in fuel has been worth...
I had been following them for quite awhile (got the truck June of 22 and immediately started thinking about remote monitoring). Finally got an email in October (ā23) that it was released. Nice backstory, thanks for sharing.
I haven't seen any posts on this yet, so thought I'd share my experience.
I've owned it since Nov 2023, and have to say I really like it. I'm excited to see what gets added (there's a second camera port) and have been pleased with the customer support and updates. I don't have to be envious of...
