Accidents happen. Very unfortunate for you, but they happen.
You are entitled to be put in the same position you were before the accident.
I would let the Ford dealer fix your truck.
Have them provide a loaner.
Come up with a reasonable amount for diminished value.
Who gave you the idea to...
If you do not have a tonneau cover the bed rug will get as dirty as any truck bed without a cover. I went with the XLT Bed Mat which is the bed rug for the bed floor and tail gate. Easy to install and easy to remove. I did not see a need to cover the sides.
Thanks. Button is working now. Figured out the front button was not working because the Tech must have locked one of the doors. Hit the unlock and the frunk released worked
I was reading an old thread about a frunk button not working, and I actually made a post reminding that poster that all the doors need to be unlocked for the button to work.
I went out and unlocked the truck with the key fob and now the frunk button is working. I always keep my truck unlocked...
Does not work to open or close the frunk.
The first step I did was to close it manually. Would not open or close with the button on the grille.
Tried a few other things, but nothing. Button in truck and on key fob work fine.
Technician had code scanner and he said not codes were thrown.
I just had the TSB done by mobile repair. Takes only a few minutes to swap out.
Did not have any issues that I know of before the swap, but now the exterior frunk button does not work. Interior button works fine.
The mobile serviced tech was perplexed. He even put the old part back in, but no...
My dealer has had two no option Pros on the lot since September.
One Platinum significantly discounted that arrived in July and the customer refused purchase, and one XLT.
Other dealers in the area have a larger inventory that has been gathering cobwebs.
I agree. I am in Pa and had to add /remove air multiple times this year because of temperature swings.
Six gallon pancake compressor is one of the most used tools in the garage during winter
Years ago one of my son's friends showed up at our camp to ride his four wheeler with our kids. Tires looked like they were off a monster truck. He had them inflated to the side wall max PSI.
He said it rode a lot better after we removed 40 PSI.
I always go by the manual's recommended PSI
I used to drive in deep snow and the enemy was getting high centered. I always wonder if a front receiver hitch with a home made mini v plow would prevent snow from going under the vehicle to reduce high centering. Maybe just a piece of 12" stock welded into a V to be placed in the receiver...
I do not think they are as rare as they used to be. I see three dealer ordered Pro ERs on the lot with in 25 miles of me.
You can go on the Ford website and use the search inventory function to see if any are available near you.
For me, the SR suits my needs.
I just took a 480 mile trip today, in my wife's ICE vehicle. I left the SR Pro at home just for the reasons you stated.
Great local vehicle, but not an interstate warrior IMO.
A friend of mine had the same issue, different brand. His mechanic told him frequent use of adaptive cruise control wore out rear brakes quicker than front brakes.
Don't know if this is accurate for Fords but sounds like a reasonable explanation.
