  1. Ford stopped delivery of Gear Shift Module (GSM)

Parts delays seems to be a common issue right now, I've got my truck at the dealership for a problem with the charge door, they've had it for 3 days now and are telling me they're HOPING to have the part by Tues. :( Also just got my rotary shifter and planning on doing the swap, I don't like...
  2. I regularly tow a 10k dump trailer with 4000-10000lbs loads - best tow vehicle I've ever owned.

I thought that bridge looked familiar, what kind of range hit are you seeing while towing with the temps in PDX? I need to tow a CR-V to Idaho and am wondering how much warmer I should let it get before I go so I'm not dealing with both the temperature and towing range hit.
  3. Stick to Rotary Shift Knob Conversion w/ 3D Printed Rotary Shifter Holder

My printer is large enough to print this, so I haven't looked at other options, but you could also check out pcbway.com or jlcpcb.com , they offer 3D printing services and you could get them to 3D print this for you. edit: okay JLCPCB is over $150 (before shipping), so that's kind of a pricey...
  4. Stick to Rotary Shift Knob Conversion w/ 3D Printed Rotary Shifter Holder

I was getting ready to pull apart my console so I could CAD something up, thanks for putting the STEP files up on Thingiverse!
  5. Issue programming a new key

Huh, never had to press and hold the start button on the last set. What has worked for me, I found somebody mention instead of counting the time between turn on and turn off, you just listen to the dings, when the dings stop you turn it off, then move on to the next step. Once I did that it's...
  6. Issue programming a new key

Pretty sure 434 was the correct one, but the easiest way to know for sure, what's the FCC ID on your factory fob?
  7. Rear Window Shattered Twice – Possible Thermal Issue?

That was my first thought, had a windshield in my parents vehicle that kept cracking when the defrost was turned on, the shop finally figured out there was a lip in the metal frame the window was installed against and that was putting pressure on the glass and cracking it when it was cold and...
  8. Issue programming a new key

Ah, well that explains why it wasn't working for me. Thanks for the clarification and information, now I just have to wait till after work to try it out, since that fob is sitting at the house. :ROFLMAO:
  9. Issue programming a new key

Is remote start supposed to work on the Lighting? I thought all the factory fobs had the Frunk button there and the remote start (aka climate mode) only worked from FordPass app? I picked up a remote with the remote start instead of the frunk button because it was the only one I could find in...
  10. Announcing: Expanded Charge Settings – Take Control of Your Charge

208V is fairly common if you're charging at a commercial building that's running on 3-phase and pulling 2-phase for the charger, like say at work. :)
  11. New GFCI code

I've got the latest version of the Eaton 50A GFCI breaker, and I've had zero issues with my Ford mobile charger using it.
  12. What proven device allows to watch Netflix/other phone apps.

Could you share the PID values for that data? Or is there a place on the forums somebody has those posted? Thanks.
  13. What proven device allows to watch Netflix/other phone apps.

Also picked up the Carlin Ai Box, works great. It's handy to be able to run other apps as well that don't work with Android Auto (or at least won't display to the big screen) like some OBDII apps.
  14. Adding Homelink Interior Rearview Mirror to 2024 Lightning Flash

I just picked up this one from Bob's as well and planning on installing it tomorrow in my '24 Lariat, I know the auto-dim on the rearview works, but my understanding is the auto-dim on the driver side mirror is controlled by the rearview. Does anybody know if that functionality still works...
  15. Issue programming a new key

That would be my guess, it's possible not all 2024 got the change, might depend on trim level and build date. I just used a Flipper Zero to confirm what the original was operating at 433MHz, and then checked the new one and realized it was at 315MHz. I'm not having any luck yet finding one...
  16. Issue programming a new key

Just ran into this issue myself, Ford changed the frequency for the TMPS sensors, and the Fobs from 314MHz to 433MHz, so if you picked up a Fob that was designed for a 2023 or older Lightning, it's on the wrong frequency. You can still program it, and it will still work in the backup slot, but...
