Glad I found this thread. Got my charge station installed yesterday. Finally got it hooked to my wifi. The setup app recognizes it, but couldn't get it connected to Ford Pass no matter what I did.
Looks like it isn't just me. I'm surprised it's been down this long and Ford support doesn't...
...I said that in my original post? They communicate in a sense that only one will run at a time, but they won't sync up, or communicate routes or anything like that original post was saying.
I'm so confused by this post. Apple maps and your in car navigation system do not talk to each other. Most cars only allow one or the other to be used for navigation, not both at the same time.
Interesting. Hadn't seen that. I highly doubt any Lightning will get Android Automotive OS. Next generation will probably be the first. That would be a big mid cycle refresh.
When and what did Ford promise for the Lightning in regards to this? Link?
All of this looks to be the infotainment that will be in new models, starting with the Lincoln Nautilus. I highly, highly doubt any of this will come to our Lightnings. That would be a retroactive OS replacement for...
There isn't a "link". This isn't an advertised thing, this is what many have negotiated. I saw someone on this forum got $7500 off from the dealer in addition to the $7500 Ford credit & EV credit, so that's what I went after too.
Here's what I paid:
$77,890 price of the truck
+ $1995...
The tracker is showing Final Preparation this morning. I'm guessing this means it has arrived at the dealership and going through pre-delivery inspection.
I reached out to my sales contact but he hasn't responded. Looks like I'm going to squeak in and get the deal done this year. Thanks...
The truck has officially hit "built" status. Now it's just a matter of how quick it can get delivered. The fact it's not going on a train seems like a big win. I'm reaching out my dealer today to emphasize the importance of delivering this calendar year. I'll take it without a pre-delivery...
Good to know, thanks. That makes sense for customer orders. Do you know if the same applies to dealer orders? Mine is technically a dealer order that I've worked out a deal and a put a deposit against.
Looks like the dealer order was from mid September, before this incentive existed. So...
This is a mess if they actually canceled it. I'm guessing there are a lot of deals that were worked out based on the 1/2/24 expiration date. Dealers are either going to get stuck paying the difference or things will fall apart with people mad at Ford.
I don't know if I've ever seen a total...
I went ahead and added my build to the tracker. This was actually a dealer ordered truck that I put a deposit on. Lariat ER with factory bed liner.
Order confirmed: 9/15/23
Scheduled week: 11/27/23
In Production: 11/29/23
Still hasn't been confirmed "built" yet. Window sticker in the top...
