  1. Finding the Factory Door Code with FORScan?

Check the second thread for suggestions on getting the factory door code. At least two options as I recall. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/search/4572590/?q=door+code&o=date
  2. Finding the Factory Door Code with FORScan?

I just bought my "new to me" 2022 Lightning Platinum and it only came with 1 key fob. Is there a way to look up the factory door code in FORScan? On a side note can you program a new key fob using FORScan? I've seen some things online but those are ICE F150's and I couldn't find the modules they...
  3. FORD Card (or Manual) on Purchase - Keyless Entry Code

Yeah there was a couple of lightweight paper booklets I got (mini manuals) plus the plastic card with the factory door code. The door code I got was one digit off from my iPhone code so by fate I won’t be forgetting my door code anytime soon.
  4. FORD Card (or Manual) on Purchase - Keyless Entry Code

That door code is also printed on the label attached to the BCM (Body Controller) located behind the right side lower kick panel (to the right of the passenger footwell).
  5. FORD Card (or Manual) on Purchase - Keyless Entry Code

There was never a paper manual but the credit card size door code came with the truck.
  6. IRS Auditing Me for Taking EV Tax Credit

Well.... hopefully you didn't give your truck a name and claim it as dependent child. :) Or maybe it's all your tax shelters in the Caymans that I won't say another word about. :) Somewhere at the bottom of the form will be the letter code number Taxman was asking for or there could be a...
  7. Phone as a key danger.

When I was young it was lock the key in the car. Cars have been locking themselves for a long time. He left his key in the truck. In this case it was the phone that was the key. The phone stopped connecting to the truck and the truck locked. If not, the truck could have been driven by...
  8. Phone as a key danger.

...bag, which works great until your son borrows your truck and forgets to put it back in the bag. I found this out after golfing when my phone died. Used the door code to get in, realized my key was missing, and used the Password to get the truck started to drive home. Maybe I've just been...
  9. Phone as a key danger.

Thanks @MidAtlanticLightningClub for the information on how to find out your master code if you misplace it. I keep the white credit card size master code @Heliian references in my toolbox at the house, but it wouldn't do me much good there unless this just happened to go down while I was...
  10. 25C69 Recall - Ford Recalls 2022-2026 F-150 Lightning Over Rollaway Risk

...less than an hour. When he was done, the frunk would not close itself, I had to manually close it, and then it was ok. I had to repair my phone, however my old password and door code sill work. I also thought my charging schedule was not being respected, but now I think I was mistaken about that.
  11. Phone as a key danger.

Do you wear an Apple, Samsung or an Android (not sure if ALL Android OS watches have access) watch? The Ford app can also be locked or unlocked from the watch too.
  12. Phone as a key danger.

You can also use the brute force method and actually read the code on the side of the BCM: Unless your BCM has been replaced, this code will always work as it is uneditable firmware in the BCM. You cannot erase this one with an update.
  13. Phone as a key danger.

No update erased factory door codes. Yes, updates have erased customer-set codes.
  14. Phone as a key danger.

This happened to me also, details here: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/psa-check-your-backup-start-passcode.31723/post-582850 Ignore the people trying to gaslight you into thinking it was something you did or did not do. There absolutely was an update that erased entry codes...
  15. Phone as a key danger.

What flat key? There was no flat key in my documents. Can a flat key be generated?
  16. Phone as a key danger.

It was an update that erased your code. I have a habit of hitting the bottom two numbers on keypad to lock the door when I’m jumping in and out. I locked myself out of my truck a month ago at Starbucks. Keypad wouldn’t accept my code. I had to call my wife from my watch to open the truck. Good...
  17. Phone as a key danger.

I confirm this. An update a couple of months ago DID delete my door code and start code that has been active and used for 3 years. Thank goodness I was home when I found out. The update forced a reinitialization of the PAAK and I basically had to set it up from scratch.
  18. Phone as a key danger.

...with the truck. There is no paper owners manual. I hate to say it but you're incorrect. There was an update not too long ago that reset the door codes and backup start code. Maybe not on your specific truck but it did happen. Also, if you fumble the code too many times it locks out...
  19. Phone as a key danger.

The phone is a key. When you leave a key in the vehicle, it will lock itself after a time. No. No. Nothing to do with sleep. No. A factory code is never erased. YOUR code could be, but the factory code is never erased.
  20. Phone as a key danger.

Please update your Account Details to include the year of your truck. Seems like in 2024 they stopped printing cards with the keycode. But there is a thread here that shows how to recover the master code without going to the dealer.
