Yeah thats the route I'll go for sure, got solar but I dont really care to pay for a bidirectional setup. This is definitely the most cost effective route and I'll be able to recoup some costs when I sell the old ProTran.
This is one of the best vids I've seen breaking everything down if you go the transfer switch route:
Ultimate Guide to Ford F-150 Pro Power Onboard! (How to Power Your Home During an Outage)
This is a project I plan to undertake in the fall. My current transfer switch is a ProTran, which is not compatible with the lightning’s pro power (neutral and grounding config will trip the Lightning’s GFCI). I’ll drop you some key links that I found helpful.
This guys has a great video on...
Plastidip is fantastic, I plastidipped the wheels on a 2012 Impreza I had years ago and I didn’t even have to remove the tires just had to apply a shine to them and it stuck to the wheels perfectly but allowed you to pull it off the tires themselves. The plastidip lasted 5 years, I only repaired...
correct. Superdec sells the Lightning flag emblem in various colors. Not sure if they are the same size as the one on the truck but I plan to remove the one on the truck and put that one on.

yeah I thought about just keeping the blue and black theme going and got blue tow hook covers when I first got it. It looked good either way on a black truck. I tried both out and ended up deciding to go black and red.
The eBay store I purchased the overlays from has finally released various red EMBLEMS for the Lightning

Yeah I just cut the line and spliced that connector in the middle then zip tied both ends. Works great at regulating it. You can sand down just below the top part of the raptor nozzle to get the angle you want for the best spray but I never needed to sand anything it just worked. Tapped the...
You gotta buy the raptor washer yes. I listed the part number above. Works great. I sealed around it with the permatex black auto rubber gasket stuff and it sits in there well.
confirmed it works, no leaking. That check valve is the answer. Comes in a 2 pack which is nice. I cut the hose and placed it inline with the arrow facing towards the nozzle. Zip tied it after taking that photo. Works great.
Yeah, I really hope its the fix. I’m getting a little bit of grill sag on the right side of the grille too, so I just need to put extra material around the bottom of the plastic pins and maybe push the grille up while securing the screws on the right side. Radiator grille install went well...
Thank you, this helped me in finding the root cause, which appears to be a missing check valve. I bought the one below on Amazon and will report back with results when it arrives.

Non stop leaking at the nozzle, had to clamp. This is the new AliExpress version of the grille with the precut camera and camera washer nozzle slot. I noticed the lightnings stock grille might have a stop check system to prevent leakage. Any clue guys? Washer nozzle part no FL3Z-17603-D. Fits...
Fantastic write up, sir. Thank you.
I would really like to stick with the TorkLift hitch since it seems beefier. I'm wondering if there are variations in the models of the hitch that coud have caused fitment issues. It seems to have worked for the person in the thread below:

Just double checking everything: No modifications needed ,besides the air dam, to fit the TorkLift on the truck?
A user here claims the TorkLift doesnt fit the truck:
