  1. Battery SOH - bragging rights or bullshit?

Well true, but all batteries are thermally driven unless charged well under their max. Still, yours shows the normal lightning curve, higher power at the beginning, possibly until a certain thermal rise, more or less steady state, then the drop at 80%.
  2. How often to charge to 100%?

2nd You can drive 100 mile every day at 55mph, charging on L2 twice a day to 60%, in a cool climate, and put 40,000 miles a year on. Or you could do 30 miles per day at 80mph, hitting a dcfc when you get down to 10%, in a hot climate, and with an even hotter battery, charging to 95%. Those...
  3. Miles per KwH - DC Fast Charging vs Charging at Home?

The GOM is the miles to empty, not the efficiency. I don't think many have reported seeing inaccuracy in the mi/kwh although yours is a pretty extreme difference. We really don't know well at all how the gom and the efficiency works. We know there must be some historical weighting to it, likely...
  4. How often to charge to 100%?

They are not that fragile, they will last a very long time even when charging to 90%+. The question is not if they will "last", there is not on or off with this, the question is if you will have 90% battery life in ten years, or 80; if you will have 80% battery life in 20 years, or 60%...
  5. Android auto without wireless?

Go to setting and search for Android Auto. Find "Version" and tap it many times. This will enable developer mode. Go to the 3 dots in the top and select developer mode. Turn off Wireless (first option) This way you are not disabling app projection for everyone.

  7. 30,000 mile service recommendations

Musty smells from AC usage is very common. Never had it myself but across all the cars I have owned since the internet became prevalent musty smells from the HVAC are a regular discussion.
  8. What the coming F-150 Lightning EREV needs (per Motor Trend)

"Battery" temp isn't the only temp to worry about. It could be limited due to the high voltage contactors, or some of the circuitry, or something else other than cell pouch temp.
  9. Wiper Blade Recommendations?

It is a plastic, but that is like saying something is an engine, there are lots of different types. I have also used a clay bar which works the same. Great to have and cheap enough. As for scratches I have not noticed any. Now I don't do it daily, but I have done it a few dozen times and...
  10. Consumer reports: Lightning range is 50mi lower than EPA

...other than the fact they were right on the money...
  11. What the coming F-150 Lightning EREV needs (per Motor Trend)

Because towing, and has need to tow, are different things. I have a Lightning, and a travel trailer, and doing any distance using my one and only truck that cost a lot of money is not feasible. CAN it do it? Yes. Would you want to? No. An hour of driving for an hour of charging is not...
  12. Wiper Blade Recommendations?

Yep, clean glass. I use a magic eraser then coat with rainx.
  13. How often to charge to 100%?

Yep, that's for AC charging and can be done on the truck or in the app
  14. Annoying keep hands on wheel message

My pro does it as well and I dont have any of those options (LKA or BC). That said it takes nothing more than fingertip pressure to stop it
  15. Tire Size and Range

Absolutely nothing can be said about the tires or wheel if using the GOM as the measuring device. Bottom line, you cannot compare using that number on the dash.
  16. Towing a U-Haul Enclosed 5x8 Trailer

Your assumption is that you cant still do those things with Bluecruise. It isn't one or the other, its both. You are still very much in control of what happens, you just also have a system that is handling a lot of the minutia as well. . That seems to be a common thread here, that folks are...
  17. How often to charge to 100%?

The owners manual recommends 90%. If you set a charge location you can set the charge limit for that location. That way you dont have to set a limit every time.
  18. Ford F-150 Lightning sales (April'26 Post #45)

That refresh on the ICE f150 is part of the problem. The lightning was modeled after the previous style, so it was already behind. Plus it was hitting 5 years in already. As far as GM is concerned Ford was still behind on range and charging speed. I love they used regular truck design, but a...
  19. Ford F-150 Lightning sales (April'26 Post #45)

Not that I disagree, but it was getting long in the tooth. Needed at least a mid cycle refresh and I have to imagine they needed to push hard on a full refresh to keep up with the GM offerings
