the only one that was off on line was the 01-04
however I still do not have cameras at speed. I can turn on the camera when stopped but as soon as I start moving it goes away with no response from the hard button. Side screen with bed camera works fine
I finally got BlueCruise activated this morning but I noticed my cameras were not working at speed. I forgot I did change some settings a while back to active some at speed.
what is the best way to fix this now? I have my original values but am concerned that if the updates changed something...
Update. After 6 hours everything is up to date. Looks like I lost all my forscan changes such as glare free lighting but hopefully tomorrow blue cruise works. Thanks again everyone for getting this worked out.
Its not the point that we use it or not, the point is we paid for something that has been promised for close to a year now that is still not active. Especially since job 2 trucks come with it online from the factory.
I can confirm that disconnecting the underhood battery does NOT reset any modules. In fact the truck acts like you never disconnected the battery at all. All the lights work and everything comes on normally inside. I didn't try starting the enging for fear of damaging something but there is...
My optomistic self would hope at some point Ford's OTA updates gets worked out or at least dealerships get enough experience that we won't have to keep doing to this. But in reality you are probably right that this will be a continuous thing, just gets expensive after a while for licenses.
Looks like things are getting figured out, the question I have is what is the prefered adapter now? It looks like there is 4 different adapters mentioned through this thread. VX3, Mongoose, Nano, and the expensive Ford Adapter.
I am in the watch and wait stage myself now. I purchased the VXDiag module but just submitted a return for it now. Once I know the march updates are released I will just puchase the Mongoose.
I just ordered that part number for the cable last week and also had him confirm that is the correct part number. I looked online to find a vin number of a new 2022 F150 setup like mine for him to compare with.
He said it was availble then and should have it this week.
