I think assuming a linear degradation may be overly simplistic. I know on my Tesla I saw a bit of a bell curve with pretty big degradation at first, followed by leveling off and then continuation later on. This is a different chemistry so it could be better or worse than that, but Idk that I...
Does the service event kick in any time specific to the repaired item or event? Maybe not the entire pack but the specific module?
I know on my Tesla for example I had something replaced days before the warranty expiration and the new part was covered for 1 year from installation. Idk if that’s...
There was a recall on some of the 1st gen adapters. You may want to reach out to Ford to check first.
Did you also try a station with a magic dock? That would help narrow down if it’s an adapter issue or if it’s a station/software issue
From what I gathered (ie, speculation) the truck is seeing weight restriction signs on the road. I notice this twice today when my truck beeped at me. I had a fake active trailer, and each time the truck beeped I was passing a weight restriction sign. One was a 3T bridge, the other was a 4T roadway.
2022 ER w/ 20" General Grabber AS. I had to replace them just shy of the 30k mark.
2.1mi/kWh average on my truck.
Everyone has a different tolerance though.
I replaced mine when the inner was at 5/32 and you can see I still had some tread before being even with the wear bars but the outer...
The Bluetooth OBD will not work with ForScan on a Mac. It’ll work on a ForScan Lite app on an Apple device, this will allow you to read but not program.
To use ForScan on a Mac, you need an intel based Mac and load Windows via Bootcamp. If you do that, you will be able to use ForScan when using...
Are you suggesting @GDN gain access to a Police interceptor, plug into the OBD2, load up Forscan and capture all of the modules for our benefit?
If so I just want to say that I really appreciate @GDN your commitment to the cause and I look forward to testing this on my truck when you obtain...
I don’t think all the HVB modules can be performed OTA. I’ve had mine updated at the local dealer a couple of times despite my vehicle is getting regular OTA updates (EAP)
That said, I don’t have a clue what’s they’re for or what they do and haven’t noticed a thing after they’ve been updated...
That’s normal.
1) It allows for squat as the truck gets loaded without having it point nose up.
2) It creates a more aerodynamic shape as the tailgate serves as a an aerodynamic aid.
Mine measures 40” floor to wheel well if it helps.
Everyone should be patient and wait a bit, FORSCAN seems to conflict with the latest update. And if you’re patient you may not have to deal with FORSCAN at all…
In fairness, I do the same in my Kia EV9, did the same in the Rivian R1T. I’ll run one less in the Tesla (sans ABRP) but I’ll still have Waze open.
It’s the nature of a still maturing EV infrastructure imo.
