Appreciate it my friend! Great truck. Have maybe a few distance trips with a quick charge. Itās different as Iām going home eventually.
i am heading your way soon ! Iāve heard great things about PNW. (With some minor bad things). It seems kinda sim to Maine. Washington more fog and drizzle...
Hey all. Hoping that some can give me some tips/tricks in regards to long trips. Truck is a 2022 ER Lariat. Active duty military so making the trip from Maine to Washington (state) which is right around 3,200 miles. It seems the route will be through the NE states, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois...
He modified his post. It wasn't that initially.
I am done with him. I was honestly asking for folks in the northeast if they have had recent experience traveling. His pointless remarks are not needed.
Bump. Apparently asking for info in a new thread is frowned upon with people in Michigan.
I am looking to travel to Bar Harbor from southern Maine. Any tips ? 100% precondition in southern maine, no rush. tips?
Thats not helpful Rick. Any idiot can post a default response, I am looking for substance (I saw you modified your response). You're in Michigan. I referenced this thread:

Hi all. Posted in General to get max visibility then can transfer (leaving next week). I read a prior thread back around Thanksgiving/Christmas about a gentleman debating on taking his Lightning vs. Van on a trip. I believe he took the Van based on family matters and charging spots.
It has...
Iāll enjoy it until the 3 year trial ends. Not a chance for $800/year. $200 is feasible, similar to XM for a year ($150ish). However, XM is used constantly and at home where BC is limited to certain roads.
This exact thing happens to me! Indicator light is on. I flip over and it causes ground fault. I go back in truck to reset pro power then it works just fine. It seems that instantaneous second when it flips the truck senses a fault. My electrician checked it out and he could only think that...
Just curious. In relation to power savings. I think people have said roughly there is ~15% in charging losses with the inverters. Are there more or less charging losses with a higher/lower rate of charge( level 2 at home).
Example: letās say at 48A charging losses are 13% vs 18% for 80A. If...
DTE finally updated after 2 weeks of failure then 4.1.2 pushed yesterday. It didnāt even tell me there was an update and it also updated outside the time I set in the truck (2200-0400) at around 1700.
Here in Maine. Truck plugged in the garage. I have noticed the battery gauge a smidge to left of center. Itās been pretty warm thus far. Day time 30-40, night 20-30. But the meter does move.
At first I thought they were dummy meters but they do move. I would guess for those in hot climates...
Glad to see this transfer switch working. I was able to snag one but waiting on an electrician to hook it up to replace my old GenTran (No neutral switching).
Only issue with the OP is that VT sticker on the panel. That sticker is acting as a big resistor most likely. š
