  1. Tesla Supercharger network now up to 66 locations with Magic Dock (4/17/24)

Sweet. Do you remeber the price per KW/h? (Don't worry, I'm sitting down)
  2. Tesla Supercharger network now up to 66 locations with Magic Dock (4/17/24)

Please do. Please also confirm the charge rate. The online reviews that are a couple of days old state that most of the units at this location are inop and the ones that work are charging at less than 50kwh. It's early days, so let's cut them some slack.
  3. Wireless Keypad - how to install/program ?

Hold off until you hear from me - if you want to do this DIY. The instructions that come with the unit are of zero help when it comes to pairing the keypad to the truck. My research since my posting leads me to believe that the Pro will need to be programmed via "Ford FDRS" software...
  4. Wireless Keypad - how to install/program ?

As it turns out, the 23k Ford points I received when I bought my Pro is exactly what this keypad costs. I am going to get one and since I'll use it infrequently, I was looking for an inconspicuous place to mount it. I looked inside the charge port bay and did not see a place that would fit. Then...
  5. Ford ESP (Extended Service Plan) and F&I

It does not cover the battery. Period.
  6. Battery has built-in headroom?

Yes, they do and when a hurricane was about to hit FL several years ago. Tesla unlocked the full range so that everyone who was trying to get out of the path of the storm could have their best chance of doing so. I assume they restored the old limits after a month or so.
  7. I've got my PRO, now I'm upgrading. Need Cleat Mounting bracket

Just curious, did you get a set of manuals? How about the tesla adapter?
  8. How do I drop the driver-side rear seatback down?

Ok, I'm still learning, but try this. The unmovable half of the latch that is mounted on the wall behind the seat has a bar that spans the bracket left and right. That bar can slide up and down and my research tells me that for it to click into place, it should be in the up position or close to...
  9. How do I drop the driver-side rear seatback down?

Ok, thanks. I'll have to file this under: Get a better flashlight! I was expecting there to be a nub with a head on it like a nailhead and I wasn't expecting it to be silver. Things get a little easier once you understand. I've ordered the Builtright product as I expect to be accessing this...
  10. How do I drop the driver-side rear seatback down?

Has anyone been able to fold the rear seatback down? There is a fabric pull tether to get behind the passenger rear seatback to access the car jack, but can the driver-side rear seatback also fold down (like previous F150 models). It looks to me like Ford may have taken this feature away or made...
  11. Ford ESP (Extended Service Plan) and F&I

My dealership told me that the additional coverage raised the battery coverage from 8yr/100k miles to 8yr/150k miles. But further research from Zigler tells me that this is untrue. So now I have to decide if the getting an ESP that does not enhance the warranty on the most expensive component of...
  12. Charging: DC Fast Charger won't go beyond 90%

This may sound silly, but who knows this could be your problem. When you set the one-time charge limit to the setting you want... be sure to hit the SAVE button.
  13. Being asked to stop and chat about the Lightning

How specifically did you remove the "LIGHTNING" lettering from the rear sides of the truck? I would like to do the same, but I'll just leave the "T" on both sides - I just don't want to scar up my truck when I do it.
  14. I just DC fast charged for the 1st and 2nd time... it didn't go well.

Does it matter if I have ready hit the 'stop charging button' on the station charger first? Or should I always disconnect from the vehicle first? When I hit stop charging on the station the truck said "Charging error" or something similar.
  15. I just DC fast charged for the 1st and 2nd time... it didn't go well.

Ok, the problem is that the cable plug would not unlock from the truck. Shame on me, I didn't know about the lock button. So 40 miles later I wanted to try a different station - same problem. The solution: Press the cable unlock button on the truck and PRESS IN on the cable and then pull it out...
  16. I've got my PRO, now I'm upgrading. Need Cleat Mounting bracket

These folks who have their PRO come with cleat brackets.... are the mounting holes tapped? Someone do me a favor and check and get back to me.
  17. I've got my PRO, now I'm upgrading. Need Cleat Mounting bracket

DeeZee Tailgate dampener ~$35 Replace floppy antenna with rubberized 12 inch model ~ $25. Investigate articulating running boards. So far it looks like I'll have to wait for this one. ~$2000 installed. Dash cam - $110 Mount Bluetooth speaker in Trunk so I can talk to other drivers or make my...
  18. I've got my PRO, now I'm upgrading. Need Cleat Mounting bracket

Oops, I've answered the first question. I'm going to order the brackets of Amazon and deal with tap size issue when I get the screws that come with the brackets.
  19. I've got my PRO, now I'm upgrading. Need Cleat Mounting bracket

Hello, my Pro does not come with the Boxlink system, furthermore the mounting bracket holes have not been tapped. Q: Does anyone know where I can get the mounting bracket plates? Q: Does anyone know what size tap I should use to put threads in the holes? Picture included.
  20. How easy would it be to steal a Lightning?

I'm planning this to me my first Mod. It should boost e-mpg by a mile or two and make it sound better too. I figure I can install it with velcro and it should look nice next to my "Alternative Fuel" license plate. Fog Machine will be next.
