I just got 3.5.5. Refuses to update though after a dozen tries. Just says preparing, reboots like 3x and zippo. Plugged it in, same result. It never applies.
The current "jury-rig setup" doesn't interfere with any of what you mentioned. Perhaps with light bars and rear, yes but not with the led front emblem.
That's what I thought as well because it's on their site with it. So either it only does when you use the T connector or it never did. I installed another one today for a friend, still took me an hour, it had no boot animation either.
Step 1 is so you don't wack your head on the frunk latch 3x before you decide to remove it =)
You also are using the wrong Owners Manual. Fuse 48 Is the Rear heated seat module and 181 is Headlamp control module. Attached is the correct image for reference. This is the link to the Lightning...

Uploading now, only had to cut it into pieces then stitch them all together... It will be live at 6PM EST on our YouTube channel and I'l post a new thread here with it.
I tried three times to export it today and after 3+hrs each fail, It's refusing. Some of the plugins we use are horrible and extended rendering times. I'm going to work on exporting another way in the morning.
Putco is the same supplier that made the logo I used. Ford licensed it out to them =)
The only thing they need to swap is the T harness. Everything else is identical.
I tried myself. On a desktop it takes you to the correct "with camera" link. On a mobile device it takes you to the opposite....
It's best to use the Ford Part number:
VML3Z8A224D
There are 2 unique screws holding it in but it/they didn't have to come off for the video. Perhaps you'll notice something in the recording that may change that.
It's actually quite simple. It probably took me 4hrs but that's because I was solo recording and taking pictures each step. Also, I had to hit Home Depot for a ground terminal connector that is absent from the kit and unscrewed some items that didn't need to be. If I had to do it all over again...
Yes, after the Ford "ACC20" Promo Code that takes 20% off. Expires 8/31.
