If it’s a loud clicking that occurs as soon as you open the door, and can hear it near the front drivers side wheel well as well, it’s the coolant valve that’s stuck. It is a very common problem and will set the wrench icon. I just had mine replaced. Let me know if you want more details. ForScan...
Interesting. I’m still on 18.3 and just today my Siri wasn't working and CarPlay cut off in middle of a phone call. Neither of those has happened before.
Take off slide door in Frunk for 12v access. Stick head and flashlight in and look to the right. It will be there.
With battery out of the way you may be able to do job, but removing Frunk tub is obviously the correct way to have the room to work.
On a side note, not sure why anybody would pay...
I literally just had a stuck coolant valve replaced this week under warranty. Many are going bad and it’s a known issue. I really don’t think dropping the battery is true!!! They replaced mine in an hour! I dont think they even took the frunk tub out, maybe they did…you can see the part they...
Well, stand by everyone!!! Sorry for misinformation!!! My particular 3/8” that ended up on the end grabbed just fine…but the others I have do not!!!
Turns out it is 0.5” needed. So it’s closer to your 1/2” extension, not the 3/8”!
Did same thing with my 1/2” extensions and it works much better...
UPDATE: Please see my reply a few posts down!!! I may have jumped the gun…sort of!
Ok, so I’ve owned multiple F150s since 2006, and maybe I’m slow, but I never knew this hack before today.
I’ve always lowered the spare on occasion to keep the mechanism free and check the condition of the...
Planning a trip and I’ve done the calculation with ABRP, and it says I’ll arrive at a Supercharger with 12% remaining.
I want to cross reference with Apple Maps…but it always shows me leaving with my current battery level sitting here today (60%)
Obviously this doesn’t help me plan for me trip...
Can’t see if you posted a photo or not.
I’ve started fixing my own for the past 5 years or so. Buy a good quality kit, and it’s not hard at all. Takes all of 10-15 minutes. Never had one fail. Just make sure it’s fixable puncture and meets all the requirements of not close to sidewall, size...
Crazy you posted this…I was just thinking today how horrible the drivers door side vent is!! It’s not even close the front center vents. I feel like I have to crank the AC a crazy amount if the sun is shining in on me. Ive only driven F150s since 2009…never had this issue before.
I feel like this has been asked many times, and usually the person is pointed to finding the card in the glovebox or somewhere else in the truck. I have to admit, though, I had not seen this method shown and demonstrated clearly. Tim is a great resource in the Ford Community!!
Yeah, with the lightnings good initial charge curve no matter when plugged in, that seems much more realistic than mine.
I’ll run the route again today and see if the glitch has been fixed!
Haha. Like I said, it’s been a minute since I’ve taken a DC charging road trip, but I have taken a few!
I tried different chargers on the planning and they were all in that sub 10 minute for 50-70 percent of the battery replenishment!
Haven’t used the Ford Navigation for a road trip in a while. I thought I remember it being fairly close-ish on estimations. Was looking at a route last night and it showed this stop (350kw I think) and it said it would take only 9 minutes from 15 to 71%????
Now, I dont road trip a whole...
