  1. No Heat in Cabin - Service Vehicle Soon Light - Powertrain Warning in App

My work is covered under warranty. It's not ideal this part has already failed. It's been with the dealer now just a little over a week. Apparently they're now having issues performing required software updates. This same thing happened with my truck when I had a 12v battery issue...
  2. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

Also got this on my 2023 Lariat ER on Monday. It's at the dealer, they're replacing the valve. I also noticed heat wasn't working.
  3. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

I ordered fairly early and always save all marketing material, brochures, etc. There was no mention anywhere of a subscription fee. In fact, this Verge article dated in August 2023 seems to indicate a change in how they handle this...
  4. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

I was told by my dealer that there is no fees for Blue Cruise when I picked up my vehicle two years ago. On pickup he even had me take a screenshot showing the year 2073 for expiration of Blue Cruise. What's concerning is I now see this date has changed. Somebody has some 'splaining to do...
  5. Anyone else still w/o BC 1.4?

I haven't seen a single update on my truck since August of last year. Have I been missing any updates, or is that all there is?
  6. Lack of OTA Updates...Am I the Only One?

I'm now on trip # 14 back to the dealer trying to fix the below. It's been with them for a week this last time going back and forth with Ford. I have no idea what happens out of warranty, but this has not been confidence inspiring.
  7. EVs Too Heavy for Road Infrastructure?

These are all disingenuous pleas for safety anyhow. The bigger problems I see on roads in North America are: * No roundabouts -> I drive and work in europe quite a bit, you have no idea how nice these are when they're all over. Basically no more stopping, and waiting. Bigger bonus is...
  8. EVs Too Heavy for Road Infrastructure?

They are - that said it's a pretty open platform at this point in that sense that people will be able to completely high-jack every point of it and its modules. This means once we see a viable solid-state battery with a higher energy density per kg, you could in theory reduce the weight of the...
  9. Ford -> It's your charger. No Ford, it's your buggy &*# code.

I've had this issue since August 2023. It started after a failed update. It only happens when I create a profile, and it seems to go nuts immediately after it hits the "Do not charge time". You can see on the graph above all the start/stop cycles starting at around 7:13am where it should...
  10. Ford -> It's your charger. No Ford, it's your buggy &*# code.

I'm not terribly optimistic it will ever get resolved in my case. We don't seem to have the same technical resources available in Canada.
  11. Ford -> It's your charger. No Ford, it's your buggy &*# code.

If I set a location preference it goes haywire and keeps stopping/starting charging 2 to 3 times per minute. It does this outside the permitted the charging window. Meanwhile the app thought it was waiting to charge. These are the settings, confirmed and originally set in the truck as well.
  12. Ford -> It's your charger. No Ford, it's your buggy &*# code.

Well happy to report, 4 more trips to the dealer.... AND.... Drumroll... Still the exact same charging problem.
  13. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

Let's not get too excited about the free part yet folks. It might just be paid for through a "special Ford Network" price of $ 1.50/kWh.
  14. KEYLESS CAR THEFT Epidemic as Electronic Devices Used to Steal Vehicles & Insurance Costs Soar

Pretty rare as 95% of Tesla's don't come with a FOB. IMO the better fix may be PAAK + the existing backup system.
  15. Ford -> It's your charger. No Ford, it's your buggy &*# code.

The EVSE's I have are solid. I use them without issue with my wifes EV6 and before on my Model Y, and before on my 2018 and 2012 Leaf's. Yesterday I brought my truck back to the dealer to get my steering wheel heat, tail-light recall etc. I also asked them to fix SYNC so it can update -...
  16. Ford -> It's your charger. No Ford, it's your buggy &*# code.

Long story. TLDR at the bottom in case people like to play along at home and don't want a spoiler. Two weeks ago did a long road-trip from Toronto to Tennessee. Get back on a Friday and truck charges fine overnight to my typical 90%. Seemed like it took longer than normal, but didn't...
  17. USB ports fast charge??

Shame it's not 65W or greater. But If I'm being honest, I would care more if I didn't have 120V A/C, 12V, and basically the kitchen sink.
  18. Sign our Petition to Make Tesla Superchargers and Plugs the U.S. Standard

I think the majority of working chargers are Tesla, and not CCS.
