Just an update for me. I was sitting in the truck a few minutes ago and thought what the hell, let me check again, and there was the key setup on my app. After that, setup was pretty simple to go through.

For people that it "just worked" after the update did something show up on the fordpass app or was it in the truck?

Yeah there are supposed to be starting in 2023, but for winter 2022, I'll have to proceed with caution. Or Tesla opens up their super charger network and then I would be fine. We have plenty of those around.

So are saying if it is 0 outside I'll only get 180 miles of range on an ER battery?

What about in general on a cold day. Can I go out and turn on my truck and the heater, and if its connected to the charger the charger is heating the cab and not battery?

Ok cool. Next question, if the truck is plugged up to the charger, can I go out and turn on the heat to heat up the cab and turn on the seat heaters and it won't pull from the battery?

Thanks for the information everyone! So I basically setup the departure time on the truck and plug it in, and when at departure time I'll be ready to go? Is there something that lets you know your battery is preconditioned?
