  1. Pro Charger Wifi Help

@duncanmclain yeah as pioneer stated the only thing you lose is the ability to change amperage in the app. For me I realized it was working was because I could see on my home network that it had been given an IP address. I would of never known it actually worked until then. So if you go through...
  2. Pro Charger Wifi Help

@duncanmclain where you able to get this problem resolved?
  3. Phone As A Key (PAAK) update coming starting today to early builds.

Just an update for me. I was sitting in the truck a few minutes ago and thought what the hell, let me check again, and there was the key setup on my app. After that, setup was pretty simple to go through.
  4. Phone As A Key (PAAK) update coming starting today to early builds.

For people that it "just worked" after the update did something show up on the fordpass app or was it in the truck?
  5. Phone As A Key (PAAK) update coming starting today to early builds.

I've read through this topic a couple of times, but how does someone get the phone as a key setup started. I have the update installed on the truck, but neither the truck nor the app show that I can set it up. Do I delete the vehicle from my ford pass app and reinstall and remove the phone...
  6. Precondition Battery Question

Howdy again all! Here is a question, I had my truck set for a departure time for in the morning yesterday (It was plugged up to the FCSP). I went out in the morning and the battery had not been preconditioned and the truck cabin temp hadn't been turned up. I tested it again today and it...
  7. Planning for Winter

Fantastic, thank you for the information.
  8. Planning for Winter

Thanks everyone for all the great information!!! @RickLightning back to the math, would it be safe to say all I need to do is keep it at 1.6 miles per kWh and I should be fine? Sometimes I do 2.1, and sometimes I do 1.9, but as long as I keep it above 1.6 I should be in the clear?
  9. Planning for Winter

@RickLightning Thanks for the math on that. So should I be focusing on the percentage drop? Or should I be focusing on the miles per kWh. While I understand the math that is being done, I'm trying to put it into practice.
  10. Planning for Winter

Yeah there are supposed to be starting in 2023, but for winter 2022, I'll have to proceed with caution. Or Tesla opens up their super charger network and then I would be fine. We have plenty of those around.
  11. Planning for Winter

Yeah there are NO DC fast chargers in this state other than the two Charge Points at Harley Dealers at 24kW. Yeah I plan to charge to 100% before my 190 mile trips. But I just need to make sure I can make it. It shouldn't be 0 but it will probably be in the 30s. So I'll set my departure time...
  12. Planning for Winter

Ahh that makes sense, at my house AT&T network (which is what I have), is spotty. What is weird it is just spotty at my house, not 10 feet from my house. Its almost like I live in a faraday cage.
  13. Planning for Winter

@RickLightning The reason I would still go out is because my remote start on my app works maybe 10% of the time. I'm not sure if its the truck or the cellular network. I have it connected to my home wifi. So I don't know. Can you remote start the truck with it still plugged in? I didn't...
  14. Planning for Winter

Oh wow. Yeah I have a 190 mile trip and in this state there are no DC Fast chargers this should be fun.
  15. Planning for Winter

So are saying if it is 0 outside I'll only get 180 miles of range on an ER battery?
  16. Planning for Winter

What about in general on a cold day. Can I go out and turn on my truck and the heater, and if its connected to the charger the charger is heating the cab and not battery?
  17. Planning for Winter

Ok cool. Next question, if the truck is plugged up to the charger, can I go out and turn on the heat to heat up the cab and turn on the seat heaters and it won't pull from the battery?
  18. Planning for Winter

Thanks for the information everyone! So I basically setup the departure time on the truck and plug it in, and when at departure time I'll be ready to go? Is there something that lets you know your battery is preconditioned?
  19. Planning for Winter

I have an ER and will be travelling at highway speeds.
