Yes but would you personally purchase your ordered 24 for msrp or close when the same truck is sitting on the lot for $18k less?
With the new aggressive rebates for the 23’s / holding 24’s -it could be plausible
That’s what I’m thinking as well. I look at my dealer website daily and they haven’t sold 1 lighting in 2 months and they have over 20.
My guess is dealers are complaining and they don’t want to be strapped with inventory they can’t move
Well my dealer has about 5 platinums (not eligible for $7500 EV credit ) for $18k off.
If a platinum had a lot more to offer than my lariat I would try to make it work but since they deleted most everything that makes a platinum a platinum I’ll hold tight and see what 25’ brings.
But anyone...
I just saw on fords website offering 3.9% for 60 months on 23’s plus rebates. Judging by my dealer - they have 21- they just aren’t moving. I would go for a 23 personally - I think you get 3 years of blue cruise vs 90 days on a 24 as well.
this is what I did
called my sales rep and the dealership got the regional rep involved. Somehow 3 days later a charger showed up at my door.
Makes me think the regional rep knows how to get a charger delivered. I know for a fact if I didn’t get the regional rep involved I would have never...
Mine has failed for a few days as well. I did get a letter in the mail about a recall which states theirs a recall on the SOC module - it’s either under stating or over stating the actual SOC which can cause updates to fail …per the letter. My office called me so I haven’t seen the letter but...
I am/ was sort of the same boat as you. Kept my 350 and bought a lightning last year. 20k later on my lightning I barely use my f350. Which is fine because since it’s a 6.7 King ranch I’m not losing money on it.
depending on where you live , the 300 range can be pretty close or several %...
ford is not Amazon. Telsa is Amazon. Legacy costs are real. business’ go out of business. And in 50-100 years a company will replace Tesla. Ford can’t mimic rivian / telsa. Theres too much bad debt hindering real growth and they have plants all over the world they had to shut down while new...
I thought ford came about a couple months ago stating the same in this article today. Are they cutting even more than they stated they would be cutting previously?
Good point. It’s an open trailer that isn’t very tall. Also agree with wind. Luckily not too windy this week but without pulling. Trailer last week- just me using it as I usually do could see a difference in 35 degree conditions
I will
Say this - with a 2” lift - 34.8’ heavy A/T to tow a 7k...
Just wanted to post about towing In “Cold” weather. It was 17 this morning / high around 45. Yesterday the high was 35
one of our work trucks went down with a brake issue - it hauls a 7k trailer. So we hooked it up to the ER lightning and put it on tow/haul. 100% charge it showed 143 mile...
I cringe when Farley starts getting excited and starts rambling like a used car salesman. He said the same thing about the new mustang and out popped a Camaro. To be able to go from 0-EV truck in only a few years is amazing but shows just how good ford makes a truck. ….
and agree- looks like...
You Are probably right with the Lincoln but …. Have you seen what msrp is for an expedition? They really need to do something with it - it’s incredibly outdated vs suburban / Yukons and those are cheaper for same options.
they really could put a dent in those if they tried but for some reason...
What happens if you have a 80 amp and buy a 24 or 25? Do we have to set our 80 amp to a lower setting or will our truck just charge at the highest speed it can?
Not 24’s since they aren’t even out yet but my dealer has 23 platinums for 12k off . you will take a bath on your trade in but maybe with $12k it’s worth it.
Great to hear. It blows my mind dealerships can be so bad at service. Most dealers are landlocked would be my guess - meaning if they built the dealership near a heavy population 20 years ago - they probably don’t have room to expand - let alone add on to a service department - but they are...
