  1. Unannounced 2025 changes (backup beep)

Not sure, I have a '22 Lariat SR. I kept the speaker around just in case. It can be plugged back in as needed.
  2. Unannounced 2025 changes (backup beep)

I removed my frunk speaker 2 years ago and it's so nice not waking up the neighborhood when I open/close the frunk.
  3. Massachusetts - Vehicle to X Program

Eversource having a flat rate of $.31/kwh is pretty rough. Wish I had solar!
  4. Massachusetts - Vehicle to X Program

Those sunrun stories were terrible. Those guys come by my house all the time asking if I want solar and say I have their car (the Lightning). I say "not interested, get off my property."
  5. Massachusetts - Vehicle to X Program

Thanks, I applied! A big reason I wanted the Lightning was to power the house if we lost power and also V2G capabilities!
  6. Why isn’t the Lightning getting more of the gas F150 market?

Extended warranty coverage. I just got one as my 36k warranty is ending and I'm keeping this truck for awhile. Those headlights and tail lights get $$$$. $2500 is well worth it compared to those parts failing out of warranty coverage. (Just be sure to get the light coverage)
  7. Why isn’t the Lightning getting more of the gas F150 market?

I keep noticing Ford EV car ads on TV. Especially during football games. Finally showing off the frunk and pro-power features! It's got me doing the Leo GIF
  8. Why isn’t the Lightning getting more of the gas F150 market?

I'd use that FUD to get the sales guy to lower the price.
  9. 1000 mile road trip with SR Pro?

Just roadtripped with my 4 month old and stopped every few hours anyway (2 extra times for feeding, diaper changes and tantrums)
  10. Ford Resumes Shipping Fast Charging Adapters (Sept. 2024 batch)

98XX got the email last night and shipped! expecting 2 day delivery!
  11. 2 Easter eggs

On the charging port door, there's an image of the 1913 Quadricycle. It's also on the 12v battery cover in the frunk
  12. Wireless Phone Charging Pad

I don't bother with it. My s23 kept getting too hot and the Android Auto works 50% of the time on wireless. I have to plug it in via USB-C. I put the phone in the phone slot next to the shifter
  13. F-150 Lightning powering house after tornado power outage

That's my long term goal. But the 2kw and truck with long extension cords works for now. I don't mind, the solar panel and battery tech gets better and cheaper. Having $0 power bill would be my goal though.
  14. F-150 Lightning powering house after tornado power outage

I got a 2kw camping battery for my sump backup. It can work for about 5-6 hours. Then I'd charge it back up with the Lightning. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09N7744M8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
  15. Charger recommendations for stand alone outside in New England

I got $700 from Eversource in MA for my charger and installation (and fed tax credit). I have the autel maxicharger 50a hardwired (they have a nema 14-50 version too). It works well, has an app to control amps, schedule charging times, start/stop charging and data if you are nerdy. The cord can...

  17. Dealing with ice

I wouldn't keep it in the frunk if there is ice. Store it somewhere in the cabin and use the outlet near the hvac controls.
  18. Frunk E-bike?

Lectric Lite e-bike is a small folding e-bike that would probably fit. https://lectricebikes.com/products/xp-lite-lectric-blue I have a Lectric Xpremium and will just put it in the bed folded with some tie down straps. Definitely need a ramp ($80)
