Nice. Still no response here. I applied when it reopened as well.

They did my site walk last week. Took 10 minutes. They needed to see the breaker box, my current EV charger and power meter. They said the next part is with the other partners (sunrun, eversource, MassCEC). Hopefully get it installed in the next 3 months.

There's been a few developments in the program over the last few months.

Due to the ineptitude of NGRID, they are claiming that houses with existing behind-the-meter PV systems cannot participate in the program due to the intricacies of Net Metering. Their claim being, with the Net Meter in place, kWhs from the truck that push to the grid will be credited at the Net Metering rate back to your account, however there's no way to guarantee how those kWh were generated. Since Net Metering is designed to compensate solar generated kWh, facilities with existing PV could not participate.

I highlight the term ineptitude, because there's a VERY easy solution to this quandry; put a seperate meter on the EVSE! At the end of every billing period, subtract EVSE export kWh from the revenue meter export kWh.

Boom goes the dynamite. Problem solved. There's a conversation afoot at the statehouse about forcing the utilities to consider this, but it's moving slowly.

I wanted to reach out to you to say that your application is unfortunately not eligible for award. As you have a Ford F-150, you would require the Ford Charger/Sunrun HIS system set up, and Sunrun unfortunately is not able to integrate generators along with V2X at this time.

I received something similar but I am still advancing with the design. I had already gotten rid of my generator (it was an old POS that came with the house) and let them know that the genny was gone and they said that I would need to remove my interlock and breaker to move forward. Working on taking that out. I never liked it anyway. The old owner was very DIY and half assed. The HIS is more than enough. I also want that 80a charger!

You could use a generator to charge the Lightning in an emergency then power your house with the Lightning...

Thanks, I didn't even think of asking them if I could move ahead if I removed the generator from the equation. I just responded to her email and asked.

Also clarified that it was a portable generator with a manual interlock, and that it was primarily used for backup power for a saltwater fish tank, which we don't have any more.
