Got it working, found out turning off Bluetooth on phone did the trick and then connecting phone hotspot, Hoping it will auto connect when I get back into truck. Thanks for the advice.
Do you know if leaving the box plugged in full time will be any sort of problem?
OK so after plugging in this Binize it competes with the wireless CarPlay. So after turning off Bluetooth and connecting to the phone hot spot it seems to work ok. Is there something I can do so the phone and AutoKit connect and work simultaneously?
My 2023 Lariat ER has had the 6.5 update downloaded but has not updated for a week. It keeps postponing the install. I have attempted a few times to update manually with out success. Doesn't sound like I am missing much though.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I had an electrician install with whatever was called for in the installation manual. Mounted outside garage facing east @ 2 feet above ground level. So far no issues charging at all. I do however have one issue. It will not connect to Ford pass app. I can see the unit but it tells me wrong...
Taking my first 187 mile one way trip to Ocean City later today, Lariat ER battery at 100% shows 319 miles on the Dash. Only concern is recharging for the way back. I am having a FCSP installed in Maryland but that has yet to happen as I have just received it last Thursday. Anyone familiar...
The saga continues….
Installed the FCSP Friday. Done by a professional. Blue light. So far so good. Follow the setup instructions for wifi. I can see the SSID. Enter the password but it tells me it is incorrect. Tried many time same result. Of course it is Sunday and no assistance available...
