Just want to clarify for you that the current gen wall connectors from tesla do not PowerShare the same circuit. It is software power sharing. They still get their own individual circuit from your panel.
as far as i know, only the gen 2 wall connectors have the ability to be hooked up to a...
Some things to keep in mind with these meter collar solutions:
no vendor appear to have a 400A panel compatible option yet.
the Tesla solution is clearly only for use with the power wall. I do not see any mention of buying it for this type of purpose.
I was informed by my PGE installer that...
Seems to me that they are just struggling to keep the backup power features going and it is inhibiting the developemnt of the main app so they are parsing it out. There’s no real reason a mobile webpage would be any better or worse. it just lets the fordpass app move forward unincombered for...
FYI in case this isn’t covered elsewhere in the threads….
i was approved for this, but they could not install it because i have a 400A service panel and this device is only for 200A.
also, it is not an automatic transfer. The loads have to be taken down in order for the backup power to be let...
Joining the fray. I am planning on setting u the HIS. I have CSP on the way and have to enable bidirectional on my standard range. My next step is to buy the system from AEEsolar. is there anything else i am missing from the equipment standpoint? Thanks.
its with all four changes i mention in my earlier post. so if one of those is BCM, then yes.
Add rain sensor:
7D0-09-04 x3xx-xxxx-xx—
726-39-02. xxxx-xxxx-01—
720-02-02. xx8x-xx—
724-02-01 xxxx-xC4x- —
part was

i cannot remember if it got substituted after my order for a newer...
update on adding rain sensing wipers to Lariat SR.
I have only added the sensor on the windshield and changed the 4 lines mentioned earlier in this thread.
I did NOT change stalks or add any wiring.
Today it rained and I left the stalk in the off position which is the same as the A position...
that must be the setting that it tells the "alternator" equivalent device to charge the 12v battery to when activated. or the threshold at which the "alternator" is activated.
i do have the other stalk but didn't make the change since i cannot imagine what would be different in the stalk besides the A painted on it. i dumped a cup of water on it and nothing happened, but suspect it needs an actual rain event.
thanks for your replies.
that was the advice i got from another member.
according to the livinitup spreadsheet, 726-39-02 is rain/light sensor present/not present. 01 changes it to present.
did you have to do any additional wiring? or did you just insert the sensor and plug it in?
Thanks.
Never mind. I went for a drive an hour later and now it’s in the the menu. I cycled the car but that must not have been enough. Whether it works or not is a different story.
these are the entries i made today for my rain sensor but i did not get rain sense on the setting menu afterwards. i confirmed in the OP spreadsheet that the values were correct versus what i currently had, and i re-loaded the values to confirm the changes were made. i must be missing a step...
i'm saying that it is really an oversight to add that caveat over a $20 sensor. it really should have the ability to clean the windshield when it needs it, not rely on me. so i expected that like the ICE version, that if your 510 was equipped with the $2200 package, it would add rain sensors...
Unless I am missing something, by not including the rain sensing sensor on the windshield, BlueCruise cannot function in the rain if the driver does not have the wiper going at a setting it likes.
I tested this out today and engaged bluecruise but left the wipers off and sure enough bluecruise...
