Okay, I had this problem from day one as well... I noticed early on that if I touched the rear door lock button it would work immediatly... I figured out it had to do with the door closing.. maybe the vibration... but if you wait about 1 second longer than you want to press it it will work 99%...
I had stopped getting updates then discovered my wifi at home was not connected... reconnected got an update a day later.. then did the above and got the next one... one thing my LVB was at around 87%... last thing I did have my auto update set fo 9 am for what it's worth...
This seems to be the trick to get the update on the truck... did this the night of announcement, next day OTA update was ready and scheduled for a day later... did a manual update and was set... others seemed to have the same effect... now just waiting for my A2Z to get here to try it out... my...
No clue... Never noticed in my trip planning since if i leave qith 100% I can do almost the whole northward run before needing to charge.. though i stop at a new EA north of Orlando that is awesome. They appear in the chargers list and I know when I used the trip planner and wanted to add a way...
I agree a retrofit with NACS cables from Ford would be easier "maybe" but I was thinking of a little more Rube Goldberg design, use an existing ccs cable bundle tied into the existing wiring, then an adapter plugged into it so the Tesla NACS adapter would plug into that... maybe a pipe dream ...
At the same time I would love to retrofit the NACS assembly to the passenger side blank, thus solving the Tesla short cable problem... That would give the most flexibility.. hmmm the more I think about it if just an adapter allows you to plug into the CCS port there can't be a huge difference in...
Just saw this post.. a little inside info as I have contacts @ FPL... They have desperately tried to put chargers up in the FL panhandle but they can't get locations... seems th "public" in that region is a little anti EV (I know my brother lives up there).. they told me they haven't been able...
So here is something you can check to see if the LVB charge level low might be causing the OTA problems... log into the Ford web site at http//www.ford.com/myaccount/account-dashboard when the screen loads you will see Charge Level. This is the state of Charge for the LVB if it is low you will...
For those of us in the more southern climes, we might go to bed and it's 70 something and the next morning it's in the 50's... day after that we might be pushing 80 so having to do this from the cab isn't worth it (not the least of which the weather predictions around here are rarely on...
The CyberTruck fans are all a gaga over this feature which we already have... you should see how many posts are out there on YouTube showing how the CT even has a sprayer to clean the camera...
We don't get those days down here in SoFla so little down time to read manuals.... one thing though with Remote Start... You can't choose your departure state, cool-> warm... when it drops down to the 50's here it would be nice to turn on the heated seats. 🤣
This absolutely works.. resting my hand on the cross piece, elbow on the arm rest, is perfect for going miles and miles without notification... on non BC highways it is great... I use it many mornings this way with numerous traffic lights along the way. The time I drive usually means green all...
Probably the proper description for this would be Precondition Cab Now! I think most are looking to precondition for the human experience not the battery efficiency 😀
I've uses BC for a few thousand miles andove it (never thought I would) I did learn that it nags you more often the more often you aren't paying attention... so if I get nagged I really pay attention for 5 minutes or more and then I find it tends to let me slack off a little more ie. I can read...
I had this problem with my 23 as well... seemed to be tied to the charging pad... solved it by moving the phone to the slot next to the cup holders when I'm on a call and haven't had a problem since.. solved both of the above problems.
You should try the Charge Assist App... it shows many many more level 2 chargers including chargers at Ford and other dealers... yes you have to be stopped to see the list... but they show up, even though my Ford dealer waz bought and changed their name years ago and it lists the old name... the...
