Located in Texas. The employee had to call the warehouse and have them shipped to store. This location’s computer didn’t even have a price entered for them yet!

I’m giving Hankook a second chance as I experienced the low tread life and uneven wear many have described with the OEM Dynapros.
Thanks... I'm also looking at giving the Hankooks another chance.. the first Dynapro ATs wore unevenly back in '22 but after several nails or screws in the sidewalks or at the edge and ending up replacing with Hankook Dynapro AT 2's im not seeing the uneven wear... I've been overall reasonably happy with them and considering that they weren't a real EV tire my m/kwh has been decent. Thinking these M+S which is all I need might give me a little more range....

Putting them on my truck this week. Discount Tire matched the NTB price (more convenient for me than the Ford dealership).
ordered mine from Discount Tire today, took them a minute but eventually they were able to find the NTB price... Five Star Ford in Carrollton quoted me $1,227 + tax but didn't have any stock anywhere.

OK, I'll bite...what makes these better tires for EVs?

I have to say I was not impressed with the OEM Hankooks, nor the Generals.

However my view on Hankooks have changed when they came with them on our EV9. It’s a different line, but the tires have lasted amazingly well. At 30,000 miles all my other EVs - even in EV specific tires have needed changing. My driving style tends to lean to a new set every 20,000 miles.

The ones on our EV9 [edit 6/32 rear, 7/32 front] have plenty of life in them. They drive well, handle well, does well in wet weather. Winter traction is ok, good enough for me not to run to dedicated winters but not good enough for me not to consider them.

Based on that experience I would be willing to try a Hankook EV specific tire again, but with some reserved optimism. Obviously this is a different tire, but figured I’d post that in case it helps anyone out b

Wow.
My stock Michelin's have 40,000 miles on them, and appear to have ~50% left on tread. They seem about on par with the Michelin defenders I have on my F250. Currently 65,000 miles on them, and plenty of life left. I worry more about dry rot at this point than tread. I'd sell my truck if I had to replace the tires every 20,000 miles.

Not really a truck problem…

That mileage has been pretty consistent across multiple vehicles. I think the problem is somewhere between the steering wheel, the go and stop pedals.

I've been fairly satisfied with my OEM Hankook AT's after bumping up the pressure to 45. 8/32" all around after 18k miles. That's better than the stock Goodyears I had on either of my Tacomas which were shot at 20k.
