  1. Can I run a 6kW "220-240v" sauna on the rear outlet? Link to item in question... but don't snake my auction, bro!

its a harbor freight omnipro 220. I can run it on the lowest current setting but at that rate its just as good as my 120V lincoln welder. I'm using it generally as a wire feed welder.
  2. Can I run a 6kW "220-240v" sauna on the rear outlet? Link to item in question... but don't snake my auction, bro!

Yea, I know. its a welder, and I have read the threads suggesting the problems with that. So I get what you are about to say :). A resistive sauna load is probably much more stable and might work.
  3. Can I run a 6kW "220-240v" sauna on the rear outlet? Link to item in question... but don't snake my auction, bro!

I cannot pull more that about 20 A from my bed 240V outlet without it blowing the truck breaker. This was a real disappointment.
  4. What would you change with forscan on a 2025 Flash?

thats an easy one. the predictive curve control that slows down cruise control in curves. - gone ,thanks to this forum,
  5. Buying a Floor Jack

I needed less than 8.5 inches to get under the rhe rear jack point with a flat then 19 inches to install full tire. I bought a vevor electric jack to carry with me from amazon
  6. Using FCSP With Other EVs

Thanks, I might just cut the cable and use this...
  7. Using FCSP With Other EVs

Nevermind. I will just replace the FCSP cable with J1772 cable of as big as I can find. (currently 50A) and set the FCSP to that. That should handle both vehicles. (or I will cut the current cable end off and Just make it a J1772 connector.. I do not use the DC pins and never will.
  8. Using FCSP With Other EVs

Hey I know this is an old thread but I want to do this too. I.e. charge a wrangler 4xe with a FCSP. Why can't I plug my FCSP into a CCS1 to tesla adapter and plug that in into a NACs to J1772 adaptor? This seems like a much easier solution than fuddling with a J1772 extension cable. Thanks
  9. Pro Power for Welding

my omnipro 220 constantly trips the propower 220 breaker unless this is on the lowest arc voltage setting. This was a real disappointment for me. I am stuck with my little 110 lincoln to do fence work.
  10. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

ok thanks, what was 0244 has been changed to 0044, but then after changing it went to 0042 I guess the last digit is related to an automatic generated checksum - maybe. Will test it tomorrow. Thanks again.
  11. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

So I pulled up forscan. got the extended capability key. But in no way can I find anything with the words FCBADM, or FCIACCM, or 706-02- or IACCMode. nor can I see any way to change any value. I will continue reading. Maybe I will learn other new things, but this one is not looking good...
  12. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

If I wait until my BC subscription ends will all this nonsense will go away? I feel so calm when I climb into my 2018 F250 once per month to drive somewhere and everything is consistent and familiar, no surprises, no constant UI changes.
  13. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

thank you. Please please lets get deeper into this. I have forscan used one a year and half ago to check battery SOH. can I make a modification th Cfg_BA_DefaultMode or FCbDM and turn this off? can I select 0 or 4 i.e. legacy?. Please be more specific. I think this will help alot of folks.
  14. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

Thank you and Swajames. I see if I turn this off, it also removes automatic sign recognition. this is why i struggled with it. However there is a tollarance slider associated with it and it got set somehow to 5 MPH. I will try to adjust that to zero and see if it stops this hideous...
  15. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

This did not used to do this. Its some sort of predictive feature when a curve is coming up. It makes the truck slow down when approaching a curve. I am constantly fighting this and it is annoying to the the drivers behind me. I have seen it slow down as much as 5 or 6 MPH on gentle curves...
  16. PSA on Jack Points

I seem to catch a nail every 4 months. I take it to a local tire shop. They don't speak my language (english). They always jacked from the control arm and we never had a problem. Maybe 6 or 7 repairs in the last year and a half. That said, I use the jack point and searched far and wide for...
  17. Tesla V4 not working for me

Oh this problem is so big for me. I believe I finally have success last week. While I think I have the tesla app working I really wanted to get plug and charge working. Finally. The support line told me that plug and charge was broken. use the screen in the truck select the charging...
  18. Double charged by both ford and tesla at tesla station Ford says basically "your loss"

Alright, lesson learned. If they were successive charging sessions I just have to figure out why the truck keeps throwing errors even though it actually was charging when using plug and play. Actually I am just going to leave plug and play off for no on.
