Wasn't there an option to just not use the "Curve Control" in that list? I'd do that.

I recently got surprised by the curve slowdown on I65 going through the hills that are the Alabama/Tennessee state line area....I hadn't seen the truck do that before...since I hadn't driven to Nashville in a while. It was a little annoying because of how sudden it was and having to check the mirror to see if anybody behind me was a surprised as I was.

I went into cruise control settings and Predictive Speed Assist was already toggled off but it still slows down before curves. It's really frustrating.
I agree. I turned it completely off with FORScan.

From the previous page. Subtract 1 from what you have and that disables curve control. Guessing we all have 2 as part of BC1.4

Correct, but it would go from 2 to zero which is what we there before BC 1.4. A one would leave the preview enabled.....not sure what that would do, tbh.

yeah above my paygrade. 1 was what I used previously since I figured that was the closest thing to 1.4 value.

If I wait until my BC subscription ends will all this nonsense will go away? I feel so calm when I climb into my 2018 F250 once per month to drive somewhere and everything is consistent and familiar, no surprises, no constant UI changes.

The curve control works with normal hands-on lane centering so I suspect it'll stick around. That's what annoyed me the most when it was still slowing with Predictive Speed Assist switched off. Speeding back up mid turn and then completely disengaging lane centering is dangerous if you're not expecting it. Not sure how they thought it was a good idea.

You can use Forscan if you still want the predictive speed assist for some reason. The curve control is a lot better than it was in the unofficial 1.4 but still temperamental at best.

So I pulled up forscan. got the extended capability key. But in no way can I find anything with the words FCBADM, or FCIACCM, or 706-02- or IACCMode. nor can I see any way to change any value. I will continue reading. Maybe I will learn other new things, but this one is not looking good so far. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

I'm guessing you're on easy mode that lets you double click and change the values? You want the one that says IPMA as-built or something like that. That should give you the screen with the 706 values and let you change the hex codes. @Aminorjourney has a good view on youtube.

ok thanks, what was 0244 has been changed to 0044, but then after changing it went to 0042 I guess the last digit is related to an automatic generated checksum - maybe. Will test it tomorrow. Thanks again.

yeah. The last two are the checksum which is why the spreadsheet has -- for those digits.
