Wheel bearing went bad around the same time I changed the tires out. And the fact that I just got upgraded to BC 1.4 straight from BC 1.0 lol
i work for Renewal by Andersen. So I have to cover a pretty large terrritory.
I had to put a wheel bearing in at 70,000 and that’s it. Other than a couple of recalls.
i did. And I only rotated them one time. It passed inspection in NY around 65k. I don’t drive it like I stole it though. That does make a difference lol
As long as I don’t start gaining service issues my plan is to get as many miles out of it as I can. But, if it starts having to go into the shop for battery issues. I can’t really be without a vehicle with my job so I will have to consider trading it in for a new one. I would also like to...
My 2023 finally crossed 100,000 miles two days ago. I haven’t had the batteries tested since 71,000 when I changed my first set of tires. It had 1.5% degradation back then. I don’t notice any difference in performance or range. I charge to 90% every day. Mostly at home.
I am averaging...
My truck is f*****g awesome I have 83,000 miles on my 23 Lariat The only thing that has gone wrong with it(on its own) is a wheel bearing. And I had to replace the tires at 71k…I charge to 90% every day and had 1.5% degradation at 71,000 when I did the tires
This is the reason I too want to trade in at the 100k warranty expiration. But i won’t get another one until they add range to the battery. I’ll keep it and wait for more range
Performed exceptionally well. Especially with the amount of miles on the original tires in this pic. I didn’t change them out until 71k. I don’t do many 0-60s as you can tell to get them that far lol. But it pulled it far better than I was expecting it too
Bc I’m a dumbass and just flat out spelled it wrong. It’s a mental glitch. Like when people used to say O’Biden without hearing it. But that aside. I love this truck and I traded in my dream truck 2017 6.7. Honestly though I would hate it. And I don’t think I would ever buy another ICE...
I have 77k on my 2023 Lariet. I’m trying to stack the miles as fast as possible. At 71k when I got my first set of tires. I had 1.5% degradation and I charge to 90% every day. Mostly at home. Some supercharging.
I love this truck and would buy another one tomorrow. It’s sad to see people have bad experiences. I have over 60k on mine and it hasn’t had any problems at all
Take it to the dealership and let them do an update. This was fixed months ago. I missed the first 15 updated bc my OTA wasn’t working right. It would say it updated but nothing ever changed. Went to the dealership. They had to keep it for a day and a half bc they had to do all the updates.
I never watch Range after putting 30 thousand miles on my lightning. I know that 10% is 13kWh and calculate quick math on what I’m getting at that moment for the trip I’m on. You do it so much the math becomes second nature and you just know almost instantly what you have for range.
Let’s see those high mileage Lightnings boys. Bought mine April 16th, 2023. Smashed it in August and had to put 4,500 miles on the rental while it was in the shop. Just about to crest 30K miles should be about 34k.
and don’t believe what you hear on the internet ? these things love the winter!
Just saw this and I apologize. They had to replace all the body panels and hood. Didn’t crack the charge port or the drunk liner. Still did $16,000 worth of damage which insane. It pushed the left and right fenders up into the pillars and chipped the paint down to metal. You should see the...
Great point. I would love to see them do something a little extra for 1st gen original owners of the lightning when the T3 comes out and they aren’t hemorrhaging cash. I know this is old but I just came across this thread
Ford will have Toyotas solid state battery and Mercedes “Axial Flux” motor.m before both of them lmao. Ford quietly makes an ev truck and tells every other manufacturer to basically hold my beer. I traded in a 6.7 for the lightning. And I myself am shocked at what ford pulled off and the...
