  1. Has anyone installed a heated steering wheel on a pro?

@jdmackes really appreciate all this. gearing up to knock this one out just in time for summer ;) to run the power from the BCM assuming you more or less followed what this guy did: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/heated-steering-wheel-retrofit-updated-with-information.6022/page-13...
  2. Lariat Leather installed in my Lightning Pro

Ooooooh that's awesome. I didn't even know that was an option. Now if someone can just tell me how to replace the single worst surface in the Pro: the driver side door armrest!
  3. PRO Floor-mat solution? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I share @benderofbows concern about Tuxmat durability. I put them in my PRO and while those long sill covers seem like a good idea, they’re just not durable enough to hold up to dogs, kids, ski boots, etc. The retaining tabs and clips make it a pain to remove and dump/spray out. I wouldn’t get...
  4. Adding SecuriCode to Pro?

I did the same mod and made many of the same small mistakes. HUGE shout out to @KurtsRPMGarage for the great video. Also added bed lights and rain sensing wipers. Just saw he figured out how to add a light bar to a PRO. Looking forward to doing that one this spring, then I think I'll be...
  5. How To: Front Light Bar on Lightning Pro

This made my day - thanks @shoopg - can’t wait to do this!
  6. Floor mats recommendations? - Lightning Lariat

Yeah that door sill protection is a great idea until it isn’t
  7. Floor mats recommendations? - Lightning Lariat

I share the concern about Tuxmats. Have had mine 6 months, and only now getting to put them to the test in sand/salt/snow. They’re certainly more plush than a traditional rigid thermoformed mat. With the clips that come for installation they’re kind of a pain to remove in order to hose down in...
  8. Steel 17" wheels from Tirerack?

Yup 18, +45 mm offset. Ended up being 8 mm farther outboard, too little to notice. No measurable range hit as far as I can tell.
  9. Steel 17" wheels from Tirerack?

That sucks. I'd say they did make a mistake and should totally cover the return shipping. If you want that steelie look, consider the American Racing Outlaw 2. I posted about this elsewhere, but I mounted some Nokian R5s to these wheels a few weeks ago on my 23 PRO and am digging it. Got 9"...
  10. Dedicated Winters Hakka vs XIce vs Blizzak

Based on the 8" +30 mm offset AR wheel, I calculated that the outer wheel surface would be 8 mm farther outboard. Seems like what I ended up with, and you can barely see a difference from the stock wheels. They also make a smaller offset (farther outboard) version of the Outlaw if that's your...
  11. Dedicated Winters Hakka vs XIce vs Blizzak

Wheels were cheapest at Discount Tire Direct. No suspension mods, just Max Tow, Tow Tech, and Pro Power
  12. Dedicated Winters Hakka vs XIce vs Blizzak

Nope they are 18s. I’ve not heard of someone having success with 17s. Yes I’ve got Max Tow as well. Lots of options out there, problem is most of them are $$$!
  13. 10000 Miles in the middle of Montana

More truck stuff: yes the loaded range is only 120ish miles, but that's more than I need to make a few 10-20 mile firewood deliveries. 6k in and I LOVE this thing. Juuuuust the right amount combination of tech and functionality. Can't wait to see what this thing can do once the snow really...
  14. Dedicated Winters Hakka vs XIce vs Blizzak

Just put Nokian R5s on my 23 PRO. My first non-studded winter tire, but I couldn't bring myself to put studs on and sacrifice just how smooth and quiet the truck is. Tires are mounted to new American Racing Outlaw wheels - I really like the simple work truck look compared to most stuff out...
  15. TuxMat floor mats | convince me

Ok I went for the TuxMat on my Pro after reading this thread, and they arrived today. Not as rigid as I’m used to with the WeatherTechs, and more Velcro clipping than I’d like, but the coverage is amazing. We’ll see if the kids kick up all the edges in the rear.
  16. âś… 4/24/2023 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

4/26 blend date, 5/11 "shipped" date, picked up my PRO at Lamoille Valley Ford on Friday afternoon. What an amazing start to the holiday weekend! All I can say is wow. Perfect blend of tech and work truck. Averaging 2.9 mi/kWh over 200 miles on my daily driving around town roads, high temps...
  17. Glitched Pro orders

So happy to see this thread. I'm in the home stretch of a 'glitched' Pro order as well. Invited to order 10/19/22 and Pro was not available, and much like @astricklin I wasn't going to order anything other than a Pro. Checked the ordering site again on 11/15 for giggles and there was the Pro...
  18. âś… 4/24/2023 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

@TaxmanHog ok cool, thank you. Interesting to know, and that makes a bit more sense, the window sticker said convoy...
  19. âś… 4/24/2023 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

@lakeguy55 my blend date was 4/26, just got a built notification this morning, followed by a shipped notification ten minutes later, so hang in there! Estimated delivery 5/29 - 6/10, shipping by convoy to Vermont.
