Got my tub from ManionMakes yesterday, gonna do my install next Friday (only day I have time this week). Really looking forward to using our "work surface" again...would have been really handy at lunch today. :\
Got my shifter in the mail today, tub won't be here until late August (per the Etsy order status page).
That said...what size/type screws did everyone use to mount the shifter to the tub? I'm sure I have something in my spares box, but don't want to strip the tub's mounting points when it...
Pulled the trigger this afternoon: ordered the ABS version of the Etsy tub, and the Escape shifter via eBay link others have had success with. Probably be end of August before I get everything, but that's fine...but I'm looking forward to this changeover. :)
Gonna proactively do a deep-dive into the install threads and probably order this to have on-hand. I may or may not wait for warranty to expire...this seems like a very simple/pain-free replacement process...
Definitely replacing the shifter on my 2023 with a rotary dial when I'm out of warranty; yes, I know, you can do it beforehand and they shouldn't give you any crap about it, but I'm paranoid that way. :)
Got it sorted. Removing and re-adding Home didn't help, but the uninstall/reinstall of the app brought the slider back. SMH...I should know better, this is "my app's not working 101"...
Nope, no slider on the home target charge page either. I’ll try the uninstall/reinstall (I’ve been in IT for 35 years, you’d think I’d have done that first… ?).
Finally home and got some screenshots. Plugged in, and there's no slider. Then I had to go into Target Charge for my home and change to 100%. It does NOT revert back to 80% once I unplug. Still not sure why I'm not seeing the one-time charge slider when others are not having this issue.
I guess I didn't explain well (that's on me).
On the Energy tab, after plugging in, there used to be a slider to change the charge level, and you'd be prompted to make it a one-time change or permanent. That is no longer in my app.
I do have slider like @jjupi91897 shows above, in the Target...
Not sure if it's specific to this version or not, but I have lost the ability in the Energy tab to do a one-time bump in charge level. Used to be a slider at the top of the page. I usually charge to 80% daily, but was going to bump it to 100% last night for a trip today...that option is nowhere...
Tire center said they couldn't repair (nail puncture) due to the shoulder wear. Hence I'm looking at buying new tires. Oh well...considering what I haven't spent on maintenance and gas for this truck so far, I'm still coming out ahead... :D
lol...this thread jinxed me...got a low pressure warning on my left rear tire this morning (noticed a potential slow leak yesterday via TPMS differences), going in to get it repaired today. Hoping to NOT replace yet...
I have the original 20" Hankooks (wouldn't have been my choice if I were buying tires) and the outside edges are wearing more than the rest of the tire. Not sure why, I suspect it has to do with the AWD and too much power in turns; alignment is perfect otherwise. I drive pretty conservatively...
Yup; I plug in my Lightning nightly (like my phone...this is the way), so I've never had an issue with an update thus far.
As expected, installed last night without issue. Re-read the release notes this morning over breakfast...can't wait to get out on the highway and give it a go! :)
Turned the truck on after an appt. this afternoon and saw that BC1.4 is ready to install tonight! I kinda mansplained at my wife on the drive home how cool this was...she smiled and nodded and humored me. I'm excited for our next highway drive after this update! :)
