  1. IOS 26 Beta - Anyone try it yet?

What exactly do you expect it to do here? You need to have CarPlay connected to get a read on SoC. It takes that into account when route planning. If you parked the truck with 50% SoC the night before, maps will use that as the starting point for route planning. You want it to get a live...
  2. Just ordered the Meross MSG200HK Garage door opener system - allegedly as CarPlay integration

I have 3 of the Meross ‎MSG100HK added through HomeKit. I have 3 single garage doors. I just named them 1, 2, and 3, and can use voice control on anyone of them. Echo what others said here, which they all popped up on CarPlay, but seems to be the last used one, so it's always a crapshoot...
  3. iOS 18.4 Beta shows CarPlay support for NACS Adapter

For those of us that use CarPlay + Apple Maps because of the battery charge integration, looks like iOS 18.4 is going to include the ability to add Tesla superchargers to your route planning if you have the adapter. Public release of iOS 18.4 will probably be sometime in early April.
  4. Encourage Software Update?

It's hit or miss, just like everything with these updates. I received 6.5 on 9/12. Still no sign of 6.8 or anything else.
  5. PTS/FDRS VIN Check Thread

Any chance someone can check my VIN? I thought it was keeping up to date ok, but they've come to a grinding halt. I don't have the battery voltage sensor changed yet, but I haven't had a single update unable to install. Just seems like I don't get many updates pushed my way. VIN...
  6. Any range gain within spare removed?

Exactly. I'm guessing the 2025 model years are not going to have more advertised range. A spare tire cover is not going to make a difference either. If $10 worth of plastic could improve the range of the truck, Ford would have done it. The car world is very competitive. If there was a...
  7. Built in phone charging.

There's no way your phone is pulling more than 15 watts from the USB-C power and you're draining the battery. Something is preventing you from pulling the full power. Either the phone is limiting it for some reason or the truck. It's more than likely the phone.
  8. Apple maps & Charging @ Tesla DCFC

I had to try this out. I knew you can add the Tesla network to your Apple Maps profile for your vehicle. I figured that would be enough to get it to route there. Turns out it's not. I think it's due to the fact that they think you can only charge at CCS connectors. There needs to be an...
  9. Bluecruise Update: Ford OTA team promises 1.3 for all Lightnings by end of the year

"I literally touch nothing! My car drives itself...except it violates school zone speed limits and requires me to abruptly take control half the time or else it would crash into something" You're absolutely delusional and a danger to everyone else on the road. If it requires an intervention...
  10. 8’ bed mod?

No. Long bed models have different wheelbase lengths. Just sticking a longer bed on it would create a lot of issues.
  11. Walk-away Lock: iPhone work around for the Lightning

This is a really well done work around to get walk away lock to work. Absolutely insane that we're at this point though. This is a total software Frankenstein. Multiple apps talking with each other on your phone to tell your truck to lock the doors. All to replicate a function that was...
  12. Connecting SOLIS Solar Tonneau Cover to Main Battery

$3500, and at best, it would generate 650 watts... This doesn't make any sense financially. You're just pissing in the ocean. Absolute best case you would get .5% battery charge per hour. Half of that is probably more realistic. For just a handful of hours a day. Just a rounding error.
  13. Lack of OTA Updates...Am I the Only One?

There was that initial 6.8 release that some people that were already up to date received. Then it seems like they stopped that update, and it's been dormant since. I don't think anyone has reported receiving it OTA after that initial release was stopped. Seems like some trucks that were far...
  14. BC1.4 is coming soon in early 2024 according to Ford FAQ

If what is being said here is true, I can't wrap my brain around how Ford got themselves in this position... Insane power draw to update modules, and only relying on a tiny 12 V battery for it, with no means of powering it off of the HVB.
  15. Efficiency Help

There's literally a screen that shows you where your energy is going. That will tell you way more than a bunch of people on the forum guessing. If it tells you all the energy is going towards driving itself, it comes down to tires, the speed you're going, how you drive, and headwinds.
  16. So, are updates paused still? Feb 2024

The weekly cadence of updates for me have stopped, with the last being the Tesla Superchargers one back on 3/20. Radio silence since that one.
  17. Free Ford NACS adapters are arriving! My order #813 arrived today!

I was order 112, and it showed up this weekend. I threw it in the truck for when I eventually need it, but I haven't had to DC charge yet.
  18. Priority Update - 24-PU0119-DC-CHG4 [Tesla Supercharger Network]

😂 It’s been a long week. Apparently longer in my head than reality.
  19. Priority Update - 24-PU0119-DC-CHG4 [Tesla Supercharger Network]

Just got this update pushed today. I think this is 3 weeks now of getting an update on Thursday, and had a few more sprinkled in on off days too. I’m guessing most everyone will at least have this update by the time the physical adapters start shipping.
  20. Update: F-150 Lightning Fast Charging Tesla Adapters Start Shipping TODAY Per Ford!

Thanks for putting that together. I'm order # 112, showing an April delivery.
