Ford and dealers have been relying on the point of sale ev tax credit to clearance them out. Make the dealers work for it by negotiating off msrp and still applying tax credit plus rebates. Pro didn’t get any rebates so I’ll let those trim levels sit longer to see if they offer a rebate next...

HELL YEAH, I’d buy a basic pro at that discount and 0% or even 1.9% 60 month term. Truck month almost here so let’s see what happens but my guess they might only do $2500 rebate plus 1.9% 60 month term.

This past week I’ve seen some dealers that still do 5k markups on their Lightning inventory and other dealers with discount but then they have forced add ons to get the discount pricing. ??‍♂️ Those dealers must have been expecting customers were gonna flood in once the point of sale EV tax...

Saw one at local Tesla and looked better in person. If it actually would have started at 40k I’d be considering after actually seeing it. Currently, considering lightning but only in 40k or under range with point of sale rebate.

In comparison Tesla to Lightning insurance how is it? Quotes I got for Tesla Y are $1k more per 6 months but Lightning would be $180 more per 6 months.

On Pro I’m only seeing lower apr financing offer and no rebates from Ford. Any idea what week of the month Ford usually rolls out rebates and incentives?

Any idea what triggers or qualifies someone on receiving the $2000 email offer?
