I thought you had to switch out the controller too? I looked at it but haven't found the need to do it yet.

I had thought about that, but it doesn't sound easy. If you did splice wires in to duplicate that port, there would be live exposed contacts on the other side. So you would need to have some smart switching to be able to handle that.
Add in that I believe the CCS connector is actively...
For anyone interested, I did one more test after my failed attempt at replacing the CCS1 cable with a J1772. For this test, I just disconnected the 400V DC wires at the charger. After I applied power, the truck would not charge. I tried twice. The relays in the charger click several times...

Post 17, has PE in the inverter right next to 485A/B.
Yeah, sounds like you plugged into a level 2 chargepoint charger. Look for a DC fast charger if you need to fill up quicker. There are some at the round rock outlets if you live north.
I gave it a shot. The two wires on the ccs1 are a temperature sensor I believe. The J1772 doesn't appear to have that. I connected the L1, L2, ground, CP and CS and left the thermistor wires connected to the CCS1 cable. Plugged into the truck and the relays clicked on like normal, then off, then...
I just got my FCSP. I am going to be limited to a 50A breaker, so running at 40A. I do have an extra J1772 cable, but I am confused about the wiring so I am not sure I can replace the CCS1 connector...
