Keep us posted. I have the same exact issue and it’s as bad as yours. I haven’t had time to take it in to fight the dealer as I’m sure they will. The bottom is very bad. MY23 Platinum ER. I’ve been kicking myself not putting PPF on it when I purchased last March but I honestly didn’t think it...
Hope it rolls out to everyone soon. Transparency on the cadence Fore is using would probably set most at ease. I have a MY23 purchased in March 2024 and I had basically given up on any OTA updates and my truck is what it is. Like everything they update, it seems like patience is the only way to...
Same. Saw it when I was at a red light and surfing through the infotainment system. Hit “update now” as soon as I pulled into the driveway and everything updated and says I now have it. Great timing since I leave for a work trip tomoorw so I’ll be able to check it out. MY23 Platinum ER.
Plan to do the same soon. I never followed through when I was looking at doing it when I first got the truck over a year ago. Lesson learned for sure on all next vehicles to just do it to safe guard. Crazy how easily it flakes off. Design flaw for sure on the material used.
Same. Has anyone had luck getting the dealer to do anything. Surly others have this same issue. Kicking myself for not doing PPF. The grill is only going to get worse. My biggest complaint is the bottom trim that is below the bumper. That is flaking off like crazy. After 1 year. Looks bad...
No...it can NOT be adjusted with a slider button on the display inside the truck...
HOWEVER....
Yes... it can be adjusted but you have to set the intensity level using FORSCAN to adjust (which is super easy).
Here is the mod which has been posted a few times in the Forum:
DRL/Lightbar...
All I keep thinking every time I read an article or hear people scared of progress is ….”you do you.”
I have had zero complaints and glad Ford had the fortitude to dare to try.
Is it perfect…probably not. But progress always has to start somewhere. Amazed by how humans seem to forget...
If it’s at the back seat pax side. See if it above the door. Behind the. Garment holder / light. Above the window along the ceiling pillar. Loose harness. Could be the issue to. Ford tried to tell me it was the seat belt…it wasn’t.
That’s awesome. Thank you. I bet it is airbag related. Which means I’m taking it in. I don’t think I want to mess with anything around that.
Thank you again. That’s what I was looking to see.
My guess is a wiring harness related to the “moonroof”. It isn’t the b-pillar. It literally at the “garment holder/light”. So I just need to find a way to pull the trim and check. I just didn’t want to attempt if anyone knew for sure there isn’t anything routing through that section. I was...
