So people who have submitted their taxes aren't getting their EV tax credit if the dealership didn't provide the paperwork or submit the VIN in 3 days. Multiple people on reddit have posted and confirmed. Dealership screwed me and a bunch of other people out of $7500 by not submitting the VIN...
I got the letter but the VIN is wrong and the dealership told me at the time they could not do the EV tax credit at time of sale and that I can claim it when I file taxes. I'm a bit upset about this.
