  1. Rear Shock Application

The rear struts are very different from any application. The front struts are the same with the ICE truck. I replaced my front and rear struts on my 23 platinum at 28k miles. I bought the Eibachs all around and It no longer bounces around and it is steady and rides better. It would initially be...
  2. Fix bouncy suspension?

I have a F550 that’s painful to ride in. So no doubt this is a very comfortable ride. But I guess most of us want it almost perfect.
  3. Fix bouncy suspension?

Eibachs all around will fix that.
  4. Spare batteries in bed charging the truck

Nice Job, but make sure ford does not get your information because they are looking for every reason to deny warranty repairs these days.
  5. OEM built-in center console lock... Who Knew? (I certainly didn't know)

Hello folks, never leave your key fob in your truck or car locked away, remember if the vehicle is broken into it can be driven away like nothing ever happened. Then it makes it look like you handed the keys to the would be thief. I have a safe in mine and I always have my key fob. Learnt the...
  6. Ford Replaced my Entire Leather Interior

It would have been easier in my opinion if they changed it to black leather covers as an option. I would totally take that.
  7. Ford Replaced my Entire Leather Interior

It actually happens to all platinum trucks. It was the same situation with mine as well. I actually have a bigger problem with my driver seat lower back changing color at about 5000 miles, The seat cover has been on back order for 6 months now,
  8. Is 18.1K off MSRP a good deal for a 2024 Platinum?

Yeah I would take the deal press them a little more say another 5k you might get lucky. I had a trade in as well. It was either the local deal or drive my ICE f150 with a funky transmission 1900+ miles to Maine from Texas for a $65k platinum or just take the local deal. You will enjoy the...
  9. Is 18.1K off MSRP a good deal for a 2024 Platinum?

Sounds like the deal I got on my 12 platinum in march of 23. Sticker was $93k and I negotiated $20k off the price. But I would shop nationwide if you are up to driving long distance. The north eastern states have a lot of deals.
  10. Brand new 24 Lariat - already bricked :(

Call ford corporate. The dealer is not required to give you a loaner as the cars are owned by the dealers not ford motor corporation. So tow it to the selling dealer. You would probably be out of a vehicle for 4-7 weeks. I went through a similar issue. My suspicion it would be the battery array...
  11. 2023 F150 Lightning ER - Electric Powertrain fault and Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power

The battery array has gone bad. No way around it. Depending on where you are 5-7 weeks to get your truck running again. Request a loaner if one is available. Went through the same problem with 9380 miles.
  12. Installed FCSP, Generator Inlet, MTS, Subpanel, Conduit, and my entire body hurts.

Amazing work and I can say without even knowing you, looks like a genius DIY pro. On the other hand God will give you divine healing ??. Thanks for sharing you got me thinking now, thought I was done with my set up got about 40% done??‍♂️??‍♂️?
  13. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

That must really suck. I would get the dealer to reserve a loaner now. At some point you might not be able to drive your truck anymore.
  14. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

No i didn’t, I only noticed that charging to 100% when I had a planned road trip, both at home and at a fast charger was not happening. It would stop at 92% and my range was dropping really fast no matter how well I managed my driving. I would contact ford customer care. They will take care of you.
  15. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

Not sure what you are getting at, if you paid over $90k for a vehicle you wouldn’t be disappointed? the choice I had was to sit at the side of the road 5 hrs away from home, get a tow truck back home or leave the vehicle at a dealership in the middle of (nowhereville) be completely messed up...
  16. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

Hello, I got my truck back after 7 weeks. The battery array from time of order to delivery is about 4-6weeks. The light was on and the vehicle was on a tow truck top speed was 3 miles/hr. My truck was at 9600 miles. My local dealership has had trucks go dead at 2300 miles.
  17. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

It is your battery array that is the problem. It happened to my vehicle three times before it finally quit driving. The first three times I removed the battery terminal and it reset, then it became a weekly reoccurrence and then became a daily occurrence and it completely stopped driving.
  18. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

Hello, It appears your truck is warning you ahead of the pending possible breakdown. I would have your dealer reserve you a loaner now. Ford dealerships generally have to purchase vehicles from ford so it is really up to the dealer to provide you a loaner. Secondly the lemon laws are tricky...
  19. Stolen Spare Tire - Two Questions

These trucks don’t come with locks anymore. What I did to mine which was a cheaper option, I bought a cable lock from home depot which I had to wrap around twice. Two options for those, combination lock or keyed option. I went with the key out the door was $23. Down side you have to crawl under...
  20. Powertrain malfunction/reduced power

Unfortunately ford does not offer loaners. It’s at the dealerships availability and or discretion sadly.
