This update just came in for me today. I’m on the last day of a free trial offer. I have not noticed anything wonky associated with this update. My Sync Version updated to 25221_Product Revision 2025
On more than one occasion, a Good Samaritan will come over when they see the hood up and they will ask if I need a “jump”. Then when they see there is no engine there is a pause Then you see the light of recognition come on and they will usually say something like “Is this an electric truck?”...
Just got my 23 Lariat back from dealer. I purchased a Maintenance for Life package when I bought the truck and that gets me a yearly Checkup new windshield wipers new cabin filter and tire rotation. My 3 year old 12v battery apparently passed with flying colors.
I had them check the two...
You don’t need the Tesla One app to change that setting. Assuming you’ve added your wall connector to your Tesla app you can change the setting in the regular Tesla app. To my knowledge you only really need the Tesla One app to change the circuit breaker size
Not seeing a slider…not a huge deal but just wondering if I’m missing something somewhere. I hooked up my shop fan to the front cabin outlet pulling a steady 250w and I see no slider. I get a message saying the vehicle power down timer is disabled and the truck will stay on until I hit the power...
Mine did the same. Charge location and charge target were deleted. Plugged the truck in after the update. No charge target was displayed but the projected completion time made it obvious to me it was trying to get to 100 percent from 81 percent. Stopped the charge manually at 85 percent. Then I...
No Sync update…still on version 25094 revision 1779. Been on that for some time. The app showed my ppo outlets were on so went to the truck and did a Sync reboot. That seemed to fix the ppo status in the app and tire pressures are also back both in the truck and in the app. Not sure if my radio...
Thanks…that worked! Left the truck running overnight and was able to complete the update this morning. Radio presets were messed up and the tire pressures are blank. My range jumped up to 290 miles at 82 percent soc. I fixed my radio presets and suspect the range and tire pressure will...
So no go for me. Charged the 12v to 100 percent and the update still failed. Left the Clore on PS 20A setting and it still failed. Not sure what that means. Probably need to see if I can get it to my dealer for a 12v check. When I reconnect the charger as a charger the reading goes from 100...
For the record...my 2023 Lariat ER notified me this update (PT-25.8.5) was ready to install. I tried twice and it failed both time saying it was postponed due to the 12v battery low. So I put my Clore battery charger on the 12v and will see if that helps. Charger showed 38 percent when first...
Ahhh…thanks. Just went back to the truck and checked. Predictive speed control was toggled off after the update. I toggled it back on and could now see the speed adjustment slider. It was still on 5 mph (my preference) but was not working because the predictive speed control toggle was off...
Is it just me or did we lose the ability to add up to 5mph on cruise control to the posted speed limit? For example the truck shows the speed limit is 45 mph and I select to add 5mph so the truck automatically sets my speed to 50 mph.
If anyone is keeping track, my 2023 Lariat ER just updated this morning. There was no install now button so I changed the install time from 1 AM any day to 1130 AM any day. Only took around 6 minutes as noted on the update screen. I have not seen any subsequent Sync update others have reported...
My Ford app gave me the same indication earlier this week I think. At least some time in the last couple weeks. 84 percent charge and zero range. Really gets your attention. Closed the app did a refresh and had no change. So went out to the truck and started it up. Showed 84 percent and 277...
I have been using the Tesla Tap mini rated for 80 amps continuous. It’s all moot at this point as I’ve ordered the Tesla Universal Connector Just providing this for the record

And it just occurred to me that there are a lot of Tesla Destination chargers at hotels where owners will use adapters to charge their non-Tesla EV’s. They look like Gen3’s but maybe they are a different model???
Then why is there a setting in setup that allows for ALL ev’s? It should say Tesla only. I get it I guess, but suspect there are quite a few people like me that are unaware of this fact. Just thought I’d throw it out there to raise awareness. Everything still works but when my Tucson AZ garage...
