  1. Great News..... Sodium Ion Batteries Are Coming

Has anyone considered filling the bed with potatoes, and running electric probes between them? Or did none of you do that in grade school? ;)
  2. In the event of a battery fire, what is the fastest, easiest way to drag the truck out of the garage?

I'm wondering about the guy whose house is downhill from your garage ... here comes a 7,000 Malitave Ford Cocktail!
  3. Auto Unlock on rear doors

I was wondering the other day ... if I'm sitting inside the truck, so the key and phone are within range of the truck; what happens when someone grabs an outside handle? Will it unlock just like when I grab it? E.g. I jump in, hit the lock button on the door (if I can remember that is where it...

    10. How do I keep ProPower from turning off. :frown:
  5. Charging Hwy Robbery $2.20/kwh @ 60kwh rate.

Has anyone discussed a Lightning network? Let all your friends (us) use your charger when we are in the area?
  6. How do I remove the "grill" on lightning

I learned something new. I hear it's a Fronk, not a Frunk. I'll have to change my nomenclature.
  7. Feedback on appropriate expectations for a Dealer

My local dealer, Bickford Motors, Snohomish, WA, is wonderful. The salesman really knew EVs (I'm a newbie at EV), and I believe they have 2 EV techs so there is always some coverage. They sell the most trucks in the area and they service them well. While I have had to wait for parts on...
  8. My BougeRV 30QT Fridge setup in frunk

I see that it's a 12v fridge with an AC converter ... does the 12v connection draw from the small battery vs. the Pro Power (and thus would draw down that battery)? Seems like it would be more efficient to go 12v to 12v, perhaps while you are driving? Or maybe that doesn't make any difference...
  9. Just because

I like the attitude that the truck does what you need it to! For me it's usually a trip to the ski hill with plenty of battery to have lunch in a warm truck plugging in my tea water heater and lunch heater. Still need to get a plug in cooler and a small microwave :) I was just commenting to...

We can provide the Banana Slug Slime, good crop in WA this time of year.

  12. 80amp charger questions

I got the 'free' FCSP. The first one would not connect to my Internet and they eventually (after hours of working with them on the phone) sent me a new one. That one worked, but still the initial connection was not simple. Now it works fine (fingers crossed).
  13. I get my new to me f150 lightning today ….

I didn't go crazy, but here are the things I bought to make the truck more useful: Cheap indoor/outdoor rug, cut to fit the bed. I also have the spray liner which is great, but it's awfully scratchy on anything you toss in there (skis, box bottom). A couple small 'nets' for the Frunk, one...
  14. SYNC-25.2.1.6.5: Walk Away Lock Clean-up

    1. Walk 30 feet away, did your mirrors fold in? 2. Look at your phone (sometimes a couple minutes later), is there a message saying your truck was locked? No setup needed, it just started working when the update downloaded (for me a while back). I didn't get any sliders, but I like it. One...
  15. Poll: Do you use PAAK or Key fob for daily use?

I was looking in the shed and I didn't find the hidden key. Where is it?
  16. Priority Update - BCM-24.5.1 - Convenient Frunk Closing

I got WAL several months ago, love it. There never was a beep, but it locks every time, unless the car is on. I found out today that PAAK works even when the APP is off. Walked into the garage with my phone in my pocket and the door unlocked even though no key nearby and the APP was closed.
  17. Range Anxiety, What's that?

Darn. I was hoping that if I got stuck a couple minutes from home my neighbor could run a cord from his bed to my truck while I followed him home. ?
  18. Range Anxiety, What's that?

So plug in to the generator and drive 24 miles per hour. You can go ANYWHERE!
  19. Range Anxiety, What's that?

How about stopping at Costco and filling the bed with Duracell?
