Hi everyone! My 2023 platinum is nearing 36,000 miles, and I’m wanting to take it in for one last go for any kind of warranty work. Is there anything I should have them check or fix?
This truck has been completely flawless. No issues. It’s only been in for service one time and it was for the heated steering wheel retrofit. A little nervous to have the truck out of the three year 36,000 mile warranty at this point but history shows it’s been fine!

Not much other than rotating the tires, cab filter and checking everything over visually. It's all listed in the owners manual.

Yeah. I wasn’t sure if there was something to have looked at before the warranty runs out.

We drive a computer that looks like a Ford truck. Virtually no maintenance. (y)

So, I have a 23' XLT 9SR) that bought in Dec. 23'. I have 7200miles on the odometer, and the dealer is contacting me (TXT) for "Factory Recommended Service".
Any idea why?
I thought the first service was at 10k. And NO I have not had a chance to contact them re: this..
Does this "10k service" cost?, or is it part of the purchase.

I had to pay for the tire rotation at my 10K service. $14.

I opened a Fordpass account when I purchased my Lariat which loaded 20k points into Fordpass Rewards. Those points can be used for service. I had my 20k service this morning and paid $18 (tire rotation) but only because I forgot about using Fordpass points.

I rolled past warranty last month on my 2023. Never looked back. My truck had only one issue - the Onboard charger needed to be replaced in the first year and that is covered under the 8-year powertrain warranty anyway.
I fully expect another 5-10 years of trouble-free driving. I'll continue to do my tire rotations and inspections every 6 months.

Ignore the txt. Follow vehicle recommendations in the owners manual. Maintenance is not included unless you purchased a separate maintenance plan.

I paid $39.99 at my dealer. I'm happy to pay that for them to do the once-over. Glad to see they didn't check the box that says 'oil level' ;) Monday I get to take the BMW in which will be $600 probably!

Check your A/C fans in the drivers and passengers seats. It's cold weather now so you may not reusing them but I turned mine on the other day and the passenger one needs fixing - was very loud. Open and close your frunk multiple times too and make sure it closes OK - that was my other issue that I am hoping they fix.

You're lucky. My dealer is so EV incompetent that my dealer sent me a "personal" note congratulating me on my 1 year anniversary of purchasing my Lightning and offering me a 50% discount on my next oil change.

Hold on to it until it’s time for the oil change on your drive units.
