  1. Ford Nav is better than ever!

Have you paid for the connected navigation or are you still in the free trial?
  2. DCFC Confused – 2023 F150 Lightning Lariat SR

You'll get lots of guesses but no real answers on this. What you do know is it wasn't the truck as the truck charged fine on another charger at the same site. It sounds likely that it was a problem with the charger failing to communicate with the truck. Why? It could be something preventing...
  3. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

And you would think that two and a half years after the announcement would be long enough for all Lightnings to have Tesla Superchargers in their navigation. But nooooo.
  4. Ford Nav is better than ever!

Yes but having to do that over and over and over is a real pain. That's why route planning software exists.
  5. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

Agreed Rob but I have run into the issue a few times where there's a hiccup in the charger activation sequence or a charger stops and restarts. In those cases, a charge session I expected to get the discount went on Plug & Charge and didn't get the discount. If I'm on a long road trip with lots...
  6. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

Wow, who gives a 50% discount with membership? EA and Tesla only give about 25%.
  7. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

Unfortunately that only provides half of it. I have WAL but the truck honks every time and I don't have the toggle to disable the honk. That's a different update.
  8. Unlock truck from charge port?

Do you have a setting to turn off the cable lock? I would look in the vehicle settings menu.
  9. Ford Nav is better than ever!

That's fine if your trip only involves a single charging stop. That doesn't provide for all the charging along a route. ABRP is the next best solution but isn't nearly as good as the Ford Nav if you are pulling a trailer.
  10. "Gen 2 F-150 Lightning" development leaked in Ford employees' Linkedin profiles

Multiple. Some were public statements by Ford but the most reliable source has to stay anonymous.
  11. 12V battery replacement poll

This summer we were getting ready to pull our trailer from MD to WI, then back home through Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the east side of Lake Huron. With limited service options along parts of the route and a 3-year old truck/12v I replaced the battery with a slightly larger one prior to...
  12. "Gen 2 F-150 Lightning" development leaked in Ford employees' Linkedin profiles

T3 has always been planned as a smaller truck.
  13. SYNC Update 25.2.4.9 APIM

Have you checked your settings to see if there is now an on-off toggle for this? It may be defaulted to off.
  14. Garage parking blocks updates

Probably neither. Both require cellular connection. You might want to consider a cell booster.
  15. Bad weather mileage - 1.5mi/kWh

Rain also has a big impact on efficiency. It really increases rolling resistance.
  16. Lightning totaled

Glad you're ok! If you don't need the slightly longer range of the Lariat ER, I'd get a Platinum. While the cost differential isn't justifiable to me when buying new, the differential shrinks when buying used. Keep this new announcement in mind: Shop Certified Pre-Owned Ford Vehicles Now on...
  17. Braking indication

I don’t know what the EU standards are but Ford uses an accelerometer to measure if deceleration is sufficient to merit activating the brake lights.
