  1. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

It ended up clearing itself up overnight. When I tried it in the morning it was fine. I did shift it quickly into reverse which caused the initial issue.
  2. Upgrade just for the bigger battery?

I would stay with the current truck. Why take the hit and roll the negative equity. Our Lightnings, that we all love are old technology. If anything, I would wait to see what the next generation Is like in a few years. The amount of times your going to use the pop up are not worth the extra 30k...
  3. PU-Sync-25.2.1.6.5 - Walk Away Lock Toggles UPDATE POST# 95

I got this update on Monday. I have no toggles and it does not activate. 2023 Lariat ER. I’m still on standard Bluecruise with no lane change.
  4. Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

I got into my truck this evening and when I put it in reverse to back out of the garage it surged and the lost power and I got a gold wrench. It states that there is a powertrain/four wheel drive fault and to contact the dealer. Has anyone experienced this before? I have 23 Lariat ER.
  5. Hit 183kW today at 57% SOC - SR 2023

I just did a long trip and I saw in the high 170's with my ER 23. I held above 150 to 70%soc.
  6. Uhhh, seems a bit fast for the neighborhood... (80 in a 35???)

I had this happen yesterday! I was cruising with Blue Cruise going and my truck would randomly accelerate to 80 miles an hour! It happened 5 times. No signs on the road I was on interstate 16 in Georgia . I also had sync freeze and not allow me to cancel route planning.
  7. Got a dealer PPI today. Modules need updates?

I have sold several vehicles to Carvana simply because they always offer more money than anyone else in the Atlanta market. I would get an estimate on what it is going to cost to fix the vehicle if anything and go back to Carvana with it. I have a 23 Lariat ER that I bought certified from a Ford...
  8. New owner - question on charging % charging frequency.

I came from a Model Y. I charge to 80%. Then when I get home I just plug it in and charge back to 80. To do mix it up and go several days without charging and get it down to 50% and then charge it. When I travel or once every couple of months I charge it to 100% just to keep the batteries balanced.
  9. XLT ER

I bought a factory certified non buyback in September. I searched long and hard for a non-buyback truck. That being said I would invest in the extended warranty but I would verify it covers buyback vehicles. Some do not.
  10. Highway Range

You will have no issues. You should get between 200 and 250 depending on how you drive and what accessory features you are running.
  11. Early brake wear

I think there must be another underlining issue. If you are 1 pedal driving like I do then you should have little to no wear on the brakes. i'm at almost 30k mile with hardly any wear. Is it possible that your brakes somehow were bound up due to freezing? it happened to me in Boston when I was...
  12. Tesla destination chargers level 2?

I use the A2Z level 2 adapter daily with my Tesla wall charger. I never had an issue. I just did a 1200 mile roadtrip with the supercharger adapter and no issues there either! I recommend both A2Z adapters.
  13. Received A2Z NACS to CCS adapter

I just completed my first long road trip and only used Tesla Superchargers with My A2Z adapter. No issues over 1 week or charging 8x!
  14. Need advice on 3 different Lariats for purchase.

I was in a similar situation I recommend looking for a non buyback they are few and far between but you will have a much easier time selling it at a later date and they are comparable in price.
  15. Coming from a Model Y, talk me in/out of a Lightning

I traded my 20 Model Y Long Range AWD for my 23 Lariat ER. The tech, self driving and charging are hands down better with the Tesla. The Lariat is hand down better in the ride and drive quality. The frunk is better in the Lariat.
  16. Anyone move from a Tesla Model X to a Lightning? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

We have had a 3, Y and currently own a 24 X and a 23 Lariat ER. The Tesla tech blows the Lightning away and so does the charging speed. That being said we use the lightning as the primary family vehicle due to the comfort and space inside the cabin. As for range every Tesla we had has blown the...
  17. Chargepoint charger failure

I see two possible issues. The outlet is not rated for ev use. I had the same issue years ago with my first ev a leaf. I had a 30 amp circuit and I changed the outlet to match my charger with a Leviton from Home Depot. Needless to say it didn’t last the outlet fried after a few years. I ended...
  18. 2023 Lariat vs 2024 Flash - $50K-ish budget - Help me decide?

I was in the same boat in September. I was shopping around and found several Flashes outside of my area that were in the $59,000 range. I then found two 2023 Lariat ER's that were not buybacks in my area for 53-56K. I ended up with a 23 Lariat ER which had an original window sticker of $89,980...
  19. Tesla Network - Destination vs. Supercharger, what do I need?

You need two separate charging adapters. One for level 2 and another for the supercharger. I ordered both from A2Z.
