Has Ford specifically explained how that value is generated? If you believe CarScanner, It's not the kWh that actually reaches the pack. The Ford app is always several kWh higher than back of the napkin math. I notice this whether I'm charging @28amps at work, 48 at home or 80 at my parent's...
ha and sometimes they don't even put the numbers on them. Took a while for Tesla to add them to the v4 dispensers when they expanded the location in Halifax, NC.
Superchargers in native nav is about the only thing I haven't gotten through alternative means. It's possible but not worth the effort since I'd just use Google Maps in Android Auto anyways. I'd rather have a fully working advanced charging screen
Not sure I would say much better. Tom with State of Charge got 2.1mi/kWh with the Lightning and 2.0mi/kWh with the Silverado EV on his 70mph range test.
What's sad is this is a 5min update at the dealer if you could find one that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg. Had the dealer update the BCM on mine a year ago while in for the battery sensor recall
Yeah lower range and poor charging is meh. I go to my parents at least every other weekend which is 120 miles. My ER takes about 40% of the battery if I take the backway or about 50% on the interstate in good weather. I like that i don't have to full charge before and have some wiggle room if I...
Not sure I even want to drive 1000 miles in a day. Went down near Miami back in May which was a bit over 800 miles. Took the Ram because I didn't want to deal with charging. Stayed in Jacksonville on the way down and that seemed about right. ~7 hours and a bit under 500 miles. Drove it all the...
yeah the clamp meter was showing 60amps+ the entire time when I was doing mine. Been using a Powermax PMBC-75 (75 amp) and it's luckily gotten me through several 6hr+ sessions. I'd probably grab the Clore or Schumacher 100 amp supplies if I were doing it again though since the heartburn isn't...
So close. I always get antsy that the power supply is going to fail so I kept going out and checking the current from the charger with a clamp meter every 20min or so to make sure everything was happy. Had a 12v deep cycle battery and ICE truck on standby. This and FDRS updates will certainly...
:cwl: now the waiting begins. Block 5/5 on the last one takes a while. Don't freak out if it throws a bunch of DTCs after flashing the IPC and before you restore the 24 back up
