  1. Losing 2% per day unplugged via vampire drain, and several other issues?

Has Ford specifically explained how that value is generated? If you believe CarScanner, It's not the kWh that actually reaches the pack. The Ford app is always several kWh higher than back of the napkin math. I notice this whether I'm charging @28amps at work, 48 at home or 80 at my parent's...
  2. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

ha and sometimes they don't even put the numbers on them. Took a while for Tesla to add them to the v4 dispensers when they expanded the location in Halifax, NC.
  3. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

Superchargers in native nav is about the only thing I haven't gotten through alternative means. It's possible but not worth the effort since I'd just use Google Maps in Android Auto anyways. I'd rather have a fully working advanced charging screen
  4. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

Just got the apim update for the toggles a second time and people haven't even gotten it once :cwl: not sure what it updated.
  5. Lightning totaled

Not sure I would say much better. Tom with State of Charge got 2.1mi/kWh with the Lightning and 2.0mi/kWh with the Silverado EV on his 70mph range test.
  6. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

obd dongle and FORScan takes care of that in about 2 minutes and most of that is walking to the truck. :cwl:
  7. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

What's sad is this is a 5min update at the dealer if you could find one that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg. Had the dealer update the BCM on mine a year ago while in for the battery sensor recall
  8. New EV: 2026 Jeep Recon World Debut

Yeah lower range and poor charging is meh. I go to my parents at least every other weekend which is 120 miles. My ER takes about 40% of the battery if I take the backway or about 50% on the interstate in good weather. I like that i don't have to full charge before and have some wiggle room if I...
  9. Just purchased used F-150 Lightning Lariat ER - Vehicle is fleet locked

I vote that we all go and sit in Jim Farley's office
  10. SR to ER battery swap DIY project

I would think all bets are off and you're on your own for anything battery related.
  11. Farley says Ford is behind in EV (vs. Tesla and China) so Ford can't afford to "walk away from EVs."

Not sure I even want to drive 1000 miles in a day. Went down near Miami back in May which was a bit over 800 miles. Took the Ram because I didn't want to deal with charging. Stayed in Jacksonville on the way down and that seemed about right. ~7 hours and a bit under 500 miles. Drove it all the...
  12. Enabling charge speed on dash.

So what's the verdict? You fall asleep in the middle
  13. Enabling charge speed on dash.

yeah the clamp meter was showing 60amps+ the entire time when I was doing mine. Been using a Powermax PMBC-75 (75 amp) and it's luckily gotten me through several 6hr+ sessions. I'd probably grab the Clore or Schumacher 100 amp supplies if I were doing it again though since the heartburn isn't...
  14. Enabling charge speed on dash.

So in this instance she only needs to redo the last one and not the whole process?
  15. Enabling charge speed on dash.

So close. I always get antsy that the power supply is going to fail so I kept going out and checking the current from the charger with a clamp meter every 20min or so to make sure everything was happy. Had a 12v deep cycle battery and ICE truck on standby. This and FDRS updates will certainly...
  16. Charging your tesla with the FCSP

    Yeah. Was pleasantly surprised
  17. Enabling charge speed on dash.

:cwl: now the waiting begins. Block 5/5 on the last one takes a while. Don't freak out if it throws a bunch of DTCs after flashing the IPC and before you restore the 24 back up
  18. Cruise control slows down around curves. How to disable?

yeah. The last two are the checksum which is why the spreadsheet has -- for those digits.
  19. Enabling charge speed on dash.

Are you going to do a video on it? Been a few requests. Initial set up and any gotchas you run into might be useful for others.
