Well, after much consternation I traded my ā17 Ridgeline in for ā25 Lariat.
Thanks to all of you for the advice over the last few months.
Iām looking forward to checking out all the features on this thing.
First things first, though. Iām having issues getting the app set up.
Yeah, thatās fine. The way the panel is setup, Iāll need to watch when I can charge.
I have a 100 amp sub panel with 50 amps going to an induction stove and a microwave and trash compactor on other circuits.
Iām home enough during the day, so most of my charging should be done before needing...
Well, I should be picking up a 2025 Lariat in the next couple of days. And Iām taking the FCSP.
Itās a dealer trade and Iām about an hour from the dealer.
I'm getting close to pulling the trigger, finally, and the sales guy said the station pro is included, with install. Is it a decent evse or is it better to take the $500 and go third party. I had been eyeballing the Grizzl-e until I heard about the Ford unit being included in the purchase.
Yeah, I'm probably heading down this road. I keep eyeballing the used listings, just to see what they are going for. I'm still a bit away from buying. Hopefully, the dealers will want to flush out the old to make way for the '26's, come Oct.
I don't know when Ford starts shipping new model years.
Yes
Yes, a little more planning would be needed for the SR. And I only do the Elko drive once a year, the rest of the time, it's mostly local.
But, you know all to well, it doesn't take much for I80 to come to a halt, especially in winter, and there's a little part of me envisioning being...
I'm not really worried about power outages. I've lived in our city since '89 and the number of hours we have lost power is about 4. Not to say it couldn't happen, but most of the lines are underground, except for the older parts of town.
It's just one of those nice to have in your back pocket...
Yeah, the SR vs ER is the same as the 9.6 vs 2.4 pro power. Will I ever use the 240? Probably not. Will I use the 2.4? Yes.
The brain says one thing, the heart something else.
Actually, the Flash has just about everything I'd want. I'm good with cloth seats. The only reason I was interested in the Lariat trim was for the rear slider. I use it quite often on my current truck for longer lumber or steel.
The only reason I was thinking Platinum was for the power running...
I'm probably going to be buying a Lariat in October, but I'm torn between used and new.
There are deals on low mile '23's, especially if it's the standard range battery. There is one under 50k with 5k on the clock.
The '24's have the heat pump. Since I'm in Sacramento, does a heat pump matter...
Ford should do a little documentary or commercial about your trip. It might help dispel a lot of the fluff about not being able to leave the neighborhood without charging.
It sounds like it was an incredible trip!
Your post is a big help. I forgot about the tail light problem and I doubt OTA updates would come to mind. I do want to ask about the state of the battery.
Plus, I'm always curious why someone spends that much on a vehicle, only to dump it a few months later.
Hopefully, there is still some room...
I have a couple of dealers looking for a new '24 or '25 Flash or Lariat. In the process, I ran across a '23 Platinum CPO with 7k miles on the clock and they asking just shy of $62k. It has the 9.6kWh and tow tech pkg.
There are only a couple of things I like on the Lariat vs the Flash. I'm...
