Did you buy the OEM wheel? There a bit pricey from the dealer.

I'm a bit confused about spare tires. Some on here have a regular tire as a spare and but a dealer told me I need a similar EV tire due to the weight. Can I get by just buying a 20" wheel and same size tire as what is currently on my Lariat? Say, something off an Expedition or an ICE 150?

I had a drop in with a rubber mat and that worked well for years with my first gen Tundra.

I had my bed sprayed, but if I had to do it all over again, I would opt for the drop in. Most of my use is sliding heavy or bulky things in and out and the drop in makes that much easier. The spray in looks nicer, but for my needs, the drop would have been a better choice.

Wasn't there guy on youtube who punched out a section of his garage wall to make his truck fit? It was just enough to fit the front end, up to the wheels. Nice place, by the way!

Check with your local truck accessory shop that does spray in liners. The place that sprayed my bed had stacks of Duraliners on the lot.

Thanks Taxman. I went through the steps but wound up calling Ford. In going through the part where you choose the dealer, my dealer wasn’t listed, although their other dealership was. Same dealer, two different cities. The Ford rep was bumping me up to the next level, so I’ll be waiting to...

I just saw a thread on this forum where Old Aviator has a 22" spare under his Platinum, so a 20" should be fine.

I didn't think about Facebook. I found a couple for about $120 that look pretty good. Do you know if a 20" will fit under the truck? I think if you got the spare when you bought the truck, you get an 18", for some reason.

Yeah, I’ve had the Ford Pass app since I bought the truck. I think it’s the signal. Bingo! I just happened to have an extra WiFi range extender, so I got that up and running, then I had to enter the station info manually and that seems to have done the trick. I think everything is working...

I was thinking the same thing, but when I found out they were throwing it in, including labor, I figured why not. If you haven't already, check out State of Charge on youtube. He has a "best of" for 2024 charge stations vid. As for size, I think the newer trucks are limited to 48 amps...

Well, I spoke too soon. It charges just fine, but the charge station app doesn't want to connect to the Ford pass app, for some reason. I just get the spinning vortex of death and the charge station gets stuck in some type of pairing loop.
