I never use Auto. I mostly keep air flow to the driver floor.
I turn recirc off but I can tell it's still recirculating by the sound. Recirculating makes the fan sound a little more hollow. I have played with it and I think I have found if you lower the heat temp setting with the recirc...
Interesting. I never thought it would do that.
Mine doesn't seem to be working as you describe. I don't sense any heat/cool/heat cycles. Seems it just runs lower and lower and then stays low.
So my steering wheel temp also adjusts to environment temps? I was thinking it just has an initial temp (mild but never hot) and then it diminishes to barely mild according to software logic.
Thank you. I agree.
I will say the steering wheel heat is inadequate. Starts off warm (not toasty) and then diminishes but stays on at barely above what your hand would generate for heat by itself. I keep forgetting to contact my dealer about it. Maybe this week.
I have a 24.
I never use Auto. Can't stand it. I prefer controlling the HVAC completely manual. Despite that it requires me hitting various menu items. But I can do it pretty quickly.
With that said, the Heat and AC icons will light up still automatically (annoys me to no end) driven by...
I run the system on manual 99% of the time. I mostly like it on my feet and Auto is all about mixing it across vent locations.
I always have to monitor AC or Heat icons. I set them right after startup along with what temp I want to run. Not long after that either or sometimes both are on...
Same. On level 3 it sounds like an approaching car you often hear when you have your window down. This first time I used the vented seats on level 3 my window was down about 1.5 inches and I swore I heard a car coming to pass me I couldn't see. I was trying to see where that car was. Figured...
I've read about the shifter issue. Given that I probably stowed the shifter twice since I've had the truck and for now won't do it again. Is it true that if you just use it as a gear shifter only (no stowing it down with the button) and make sure you don't rely on the truck to auto shift it to...
I observed this yesterday. What I observed is that it updates on a lesser interval than "instant". I saw it change like every 30 seconds or so. But it definitely was changing. I didn't try to figure out how often it updated.
I never get Calm screens on start-up. I do however get Brake Coach reactivated several times a month. I don't do anything else until I turn it back off. Can't stand it.
Well, I should have also mentioned I am testing my new Ford DCFC Lectron adapter too. I have the Lectron Vortex which worked great on my two trips. But I will now have the official one. I wanna follow the rules of Tesla/Ford given their disclaimers.
I used this charger the first week I owned the truck to be sure Plug and Charge worked. It did. That's it. At the time another person had difficulty but I don't know why. I use Tesla as mentioned on the road. There are more of them in my sphere. I would like to try this one too and see...
