Just push the unlock button on your remote, (and within 1 min.) reach into The bed, and push the pro power button. All outlets are ready to go. No need to start the truck. That’s how it works in my ‘24. And it activates the interior outlets too.

Seeing as how you bought it from a FORD dealer, the salesman should have gotten you all setup before you left dealership. Call your salesman or the sales manager and insist they straighten it all out.

Edit, found reference …… it’s a trailer hitch alignment hold feature. It prevents that annoying situation where you have perfect ball and hitch alignment, and then you put the truck in park, get out, and slack in the drivetrain will still allow the truck to move. lol

If you buy another Ev, or have one visit, (J1772, NACS) you won’t be able to use the FCSP to charge that car. Also, You will have to flip open/closed the lower CCS flap every time you charge. Get the Tesla UWC.
