Good catch. No, it's a 24 so it doesn't have the fake door. I reversed a pic I had of the driver's side so the truck would be facing the same direction
I purchased the wheels on Marketplace for $400, the leveling kit was a little under $400, the tires were $963, I did the install myself, and the alignment was free since I work at a collision repair facility and we did it here.
Been running the drop setup for about a year now. I love it and think it looks great but I was ready for a change for a few reasons...
1 - Wanted a different look
2 - Wanted more "truck functionality". (Payload, towing, etc.)
3 - Better ride quality. (Didn't ride awful lowered but you could...
Interesting thought! That never came to mind. I have disabled the seatbelt warning so I too am a once in a while seatbelt user. I'll have to try it both ways. Thanks!
I've been getting this message over 50% of the time when I try to engage adaptive cruise. It will still warn me if I almost completely leave the lane but it won't help center thr truck in the lane. Anyone else experiencing this or have any thought?
Is anyone else having problems with PAAK? Mine works intermittently at best. I was having to use the touch pad to get in and enter passcode to start so often that I started carrying my key fob!
They've been using these on other FoMoCo products for years (including the Mach E). My wife had an Edge a few years ago that had one. I haven't heard of any major issues
The knob actually IS motorized. If you open a door or turn the truck off while in gear the knob actually turns as the light up indicators make their way to "P"
Dropped it off at the dealer 2 days ago for parking sensor false warnings and interior lights that won't turn off. (Has been an issue long before any mods) They are saying that they think the interior lights are due to a bad BCM!!! (But they also say that they can't guarantee that's the problem)...
I absolutely LOVE the final result of the rotary shift conversion in my 24 Lariat! I've seen a few different variations of this mod including cutting a hole in the dash and mounting it next to the steering wheel. I was planning on going that route but had trouble building the wiring harness. At...
It’s honestly not bad at all. I’m not going to kid anyone and say that it has the super plush ride that these trucks came with but that would be unrealistic. I called the ride “sporty“. The truck handle so much better, feels so much flatter in corners, and just has a little bit of a stiffer ride...
