My “Change with buttons” switch is off in settings, but the phone still rings at full volume in the truck, scaring the crap out of us. It seems the volume of the call and ringer are one and the same, and it you don’t turn it down after a call it will ring super loud. Lame.
I received the OTA updates that enabled Blue Cruise for me last week. I had a chance to drive from the NorCal Bay Area Peninsula to Lake Tahoe and back this week, traveling mostly on the 101 and 80 through Sacramento. My experience with Blue Cruise was generally good.

You will get Blue Cruise, and the first year is now free. With auto driving, late and safe is better than early and not tested, like Tesla. Plus you still have auto cruise, which is close to Blue Cruise anyway. I understand your frustration, but try to keep it in perspective and enjoy the truck...
I got my final update this afternoon also, and it works great. I'm happy with the free year, given they are a little late. I'm also fine that they are late. I'd rather have it late and right.
After 2.5.1 I get a message saying Blue Cruise active, keep your eyes on the road when I turn on cruise. But Blue Cruise isn't active. The cruise is the same as it's always been.
As I mentioned before, I don't have the Lane Centering with Hands-free option you mentioned above. But when I click on Adaptive Cruise Information it shows the following. I also noticed that my Lane Keeping mode was set to Alert and not Aid, so maybe that's it.
So I received the 2.5.1 update and got the Blue Cruise hands free dialog box when I drove the truck. Then I took it on the 280 in San Mateo and it kept asking me to put my hands on the wheel, like before. The steering wheel icon was the same as it was before, and wasn't the one shown in the Ford...
I just received this email, with instructions to change the OTA update times. Anyone else go through this and have Bluecruise installed this way? I'm looking forward to getting it rolling.
