Exactly! When training someone new to drive I find it great for them to be able to see when their brake lights come on.
Also, itās not anymore distracting than say a blinker operating.

Iām surprised it took Toyota this long to integrate this. For the last seven years when you calibrate the SVC on a Toyota/Lexus, it brings up a similar view on the infotainment screen. However, I did not know that the windshield camera normally...

1. Rain sensor. When u have the stalk set to auto turn on when it detects rain⦠or embarrass u when u go into a car wash lol
2. The LKA camera.
The LKA camera & ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) module also work in conjunction for the AEB (Automatic Emergency Breaking)
šÆ thatās one of the major downsides to ADAS suites such as Subaruās Eyesight that uses the same cameras for ACC & LKA. Instead of how Ford has a radar module for the ACC & a windshield camera for the LKA.
Got my update & am loving it.
I also really like how FordPass also lets me know that itās locked. Was always worried with my Civic, as to whether or not it actually locked.
