I can turn it off, but it seems like the AC always tries to be on. For example, Saturday at 7:30AM, the truck has been outside all night. Truck reports that the outside temp is 64F (cooler overnight). I have the climate control temp set to 70F. Start driving and the AC comes on, cold air coming...
My Lightning is a 2023 (I bought it this year), the cover came with it. I live in Maine and a soft cover with no garage will not survive the weight of snow we get.
I don't know which model Truxedo this is. It has a Ford logo embossed in it, the serial_no image has a patent web page URL that is...
So don't solder due to things like cold solder joints and don't crimp due to the possible bad crimps.
Not what I did last week. The bracket had a hole that was plenty large for the red connectors. Do as thou wilt.
I just did this a week ago, you don't need to solder.. The red end connects direct to the speaker terminals, with the correct polarity. About $10/pair.
The other way to do it is to get a Metra adapter. Then you plug the adapter into the existing wiring socket and the connectors onto the speakers. The Metra part for the front is 72-5602
Alpine S2-S69, using the Metra 82-5606 adapter plates. It all fit nicely, but I thought the provided screws were too small. I think the screws came with the adapter, they were #8, I used #10 sheet metal screws.
I replaced the stock speakers with Alpine S coaxial. Like you said, huge improvement across the board.
I found via the front/rear balance that the rear speakers don't contribute a lot, so I'm leaving mine as-is.
I had the stock (not B&O) sound system. My objection was how bad the bass sounded, just boom boom boom with no pretense of actual notes. All the bass sounded like the same note.
I did the following, in order:
1. Block off plates front/rear from Sounds Good
This noticeably improved, but the...
This may be a silly question, but I'd kind of like to be sure of the answer before ordering speakers. More specifically, I want to change my stock (not B&O) 2023 XLT front door speakers to Alpine 6x9. I've found one YT video that says the R-S69C.2 speakers will fit (using the Metra 82-5606...
It turns out that the problem was the guy behind the wheel. Apparently I did not follow the plug in, start up sequence correctly. It now works! Much rejoicing here, thanks for your comment.
Forscan's web page says it does, but it also says ELM327 adapters do (and then it updates that they don't). I bought a Vgage Icar Pro; this does not connect to Forscan.
Leaving the grocery store, Nav announces something like "12 minute delay ahead". This is mysterious:
1. My wife verified Nav did not have any destination set.
2. No only was location off on my phone, but the truck's Bluetooth was turned off. My wife's phone is not paired with the truck yet.
3...
