I'm not sure excatly how it works-- and I still have the same questions about the limitations as you. I've talked to Ford OTA (My truck was a beta truck, fleet locked, etc) so I haven't gotten any OTA updates. I'm working with them to try and fix it. But, anyhow they mentioned the "Wave Cycle"...
What? All I said is the FordPass app was better than Kia. FordPass could be worse. That’s all I’m saying. I never said it was like Tesla, but it’s certainly a lot better than other OEMs.
Dream road trip would be through the Canadian mountains with my friends.
I love this truck and would love to take this trip next year.
Thinking of purchasing a bed tent to do this.
I'd have to look-- but I'd think it's probably something to do with the tires. I'm not sure through. You can definitely feel it slow down when you hit the limiter.
Hi guys,
anyone ever wrapped their grill black and created a video? I'm thinking of doing this to my lightning. I like the look of the gloss black better, but I want to do it without the cost/chipping of the platinum grill. I do window tint so I'm not knowledgeable on what vinyl wraps are good...
Yes I agree with you. When I tint my own cars I do it to a spec where I have enough privacy, and to take the edge off the sun. I get your concerns with the visibility. I personally like window tint at night when there’s cars behind me, because it tones down their blinding lights in the rear...
Hey guys,
I am a tinter and just tinted our new to us lightning.
I did 20% all around, including the sunroofs.
I haven’t done the windshield yet, I am going to do 50%.
I decided to go take some pictures just to take some time and take a break after dinner.
I left RIGHT before the sky was golden...
Feel bad for the innocent guy in the red vehicle that got hit. It does seem like the driver was having issues.
This reminds me of the floor mat situation with Toyota. I never got the deaths because there's multiple things you can do.
Shift into neutral.
Apply the brake
Apply the E-brake
Turn...
Big big thanks to @Jesse-Infotainment for helping me solve the problem. He also uncovered that the vehicle was used by ford to test beta software. Cool history behind it.
I’m not a big fan of the look of them, but if you want to protect your front / hood area go for ppf. Can’t tell it’s there and protects the front from rock chips.
